Title: Hullo dere

New here, but not new to the concept of protecting our ways from exploitation and imitation.  I'm a Canadian here of primarily Cree/Metis descent.

Tansi;

It is good to see another Nechi here!  Welcome, Tawow!

I live in the Metis Village of Green Lake, in Northern Saskatchewan.  What part of the country are you from?

Hello, Nichinerd.  Are you from Manitoba, by any chance?
Do you think the problem of exploitation is as widespread here in Canada as it is in the USA and
parts of Europe?

Tansi;

I don't think that the fraud is as widespread, in Canada.  I think that since we have very active Aboriginal organizations, there are many opportunities for people to check out various claims, with the First Nation or Metis organizations.

There are some, though and I have seen and met some of the exploiters, in Saskatchewan, but they are mostly from the States.

If we keep our Culture Strong, we will be able to keep this in check!
