Turquoise Marble Teaching Center: Warren Redwing Ramey
« on: September 08, 2011, 02:54:13 am »
Folks, got an inquiry from a fellow tribal member about a place called Turquoise Marble Teaching Center and its association with a guy by the name of Warren Redwing Ramey.  Anyone know anything about it?

Found this blog post from someone who is involved but it is 2007.

and this:

Supposedly it is in Batesville Indiana which is an hour south of Indy.

And this on Ramey:

Thanks and if I missed something about these issues I apologize, I sometimes search all over the house for my keys when they are in my pocket.

He's online mostly as one of the "elders" promoted by fraud Diane Fisher/Dhyani Yawahoo, who runs the Sunray Cherokee cult out in Vermont.

Found him listed as living in both Brevard NC and North Port FL or Jupiter FL. He's in his 70s.

This is Ramey, far left.

As you can see, the caption lists him as of the United Lumbee Nation NC Woodland Band. United Lumbee are a fraud outfit that's given the actual Lumbee quite a bit of problems. We have a thread on them.

The author talks about him in some clumsy TontoSpeak mixed with Nuage buzzwords.

"I was especially surprised to see my friend Chief Warren Ramey of the Cherokee Nation had come from Indiana in the United States to bring honour to our ceremony. He arrived with his helper Steven and his daughter Virginia. I say I was surprised but I was not really. Uncle Warren and I had met at a ceremony in Coba Mexico last March, and we had agreed to Plant the Tree of Peace in Toronto together. I was not certain he would be there, but I was so happy to see him there. He was acknowledged in the right way both by Chief Tom Bressette and Elder Vern Harper as they included him in the ceremonies. I have seen this before. Being in the moment and doing things the "right way". It made my heart soar when Grandpa asked Uncle to come and stand beside him in the Blessing of the Rock. It made my heart soar when Chief Tom Bressette welcomed Uncle Warren. Our local people do not know how to be so civilized."

But most sites claim he's a chief in the "Southern Cherokee." We have a thread on them too, people claiming Cherokee ancestry in KY. He's into some distinctly un Cherokee ideas and practices.

Our delegation of four messengers just got back from Missouri. It was a wonderful medicine pilgrimage, blessed with many encounters with sacred allies, to share visions and teachings. On our way in and out, we stopped at Warren Ramey's Turquoise Marble teaching center, to be blessed with wampum reading, crystal skulls meditation and sharing of wisdom. This great and respectable Cherokee elder plans to attend the Call of the Wolf.
