Hi Everyone!
Wow! I've been reading everything on this forum for the past 6 months (everyday- what an education!) and learning a lot about what's going on around this great world of ours with all these people parading around like elders, medicine people, shamans (gimme a break!),
whatever[/i]. I'm a white woman, grew up by the Great Lakes and have many friends that are Ojibwe since I was a child. I've been to lots of ceremonies over the years and have always felt accepted for who I am. No big deal.
I know of one of the "frauds" you speak of, makes me sad to read people's thoughts about him. He's a nice man but frankly I don't know him very well. It was after one of his ceremonies that I "discovered" this forum.....hmmmm......yea. I like to stand on the edge of things and watch. It's best there. I don't anticipate jumping in much but I'll be around....
