Karen Owens and Spirit Guide Blue River

I just came across this information and I had to share it with you since it is so unusual.

She lives in England and is a channel (among other things).  One of her spirit guides is a Native American called Blue River and he helps her design items which she sells online and at craft fayres (fairs).

This is from her LinkedIn bio:  http://www.linkedin.com/pub/karen-owens/30/5b2/9b8

Blue River is my Native American (Lacota Sioux) Spirit Guide.
He helps me with several of my work paths, but especially with creating hand made traditional Native American items like Dream Catchers, Smudging Feathers, Feather Novelties & Jewellery, Medicine Wheels etc for sale on my market stall.
(Bolding Mine - Either she or Blue River have the spelling off)

These are the items she sells with the guidance of Blue River:

Why are so many guides Native American Indians?

People from these nations would have led an intensely spiritual existence during their time on Earth and evolved great wisdom while they were here. This would make them highly qualified to help people on Earth today. Having said that, a far, far greater number of guides are not native American Indians.

Also, for some reason, Native American Indian spirit guides seem to be drawn to people who attend spiritualist churches, so a higher than usual percentage of spirit guides from Native America appear in portraits for a relatively small percentage of the worldwide population.

Karen's claim that a Native American spirit guide directs her crafts is quite the marketing trick.

Her elaborate list of spirit guides looks to include a husband who has passed on.

Many spiritualist churches use stereotypical depictions of spirit guides, mediums may have one of every "type".

Yes...definitely a marketing scheme.  The stuff she makes...kids make on a regular basis....and with better quality.  The fact that she calls her products "artifacts" is pretty telling as well.  A clever semantic play.  But these are not artifacts, nor are they traditional, and even though they are cheap...still not worth it.  She definitely misrepresents her products (spirit guide or not).

Apparently Blue River's been looking around the pow wow circuit and online, because all of that stuff is no different than the usual crow bait you'll find at pow wows, festivals etc.

Also, Welsh flag inside a dreamcatcher? Really?
