That video is really sad.  It makes me very angry that those two little kids think they are participating in something traditional.

Anythink wrong with this video?

The last guy in that video looks like him might have had some real eagle feathers on his regalia. Somebody should call the Dept of wildlife, or the local fish and game in that area.

I have seen some bad two steppers in my life, but these guys really take the cake. I had a hard time deciding if I should feel disgusted or just laugh at them for looking soo darn ridiculous.

Whoever that guy was giving the "names", he can't speak Cherokee to save his life...he mispronounced everything he said. My wife says she is embarrassed for all of them.

Lonewolf sure is keeping himself busy gifting so called eagle feathers, and bestowing so called Cherokee names on people!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCTuZ1XowGE

This fraud needs to be stopped.  He’s really misleading a lot of people, and misrepresenting and distorting Cheroke and American Indian culture, traditions, and Spirituality.  It’s really disturbing to know that this guy is running around all these Powwows doing all this nonsense in the name of the Cherokee people.  Anyone know anything more about this guy who calls himself Lonewolf?

He’s also selling T Shirts embroidered with his name “LoneWolf” in bold letters written on the front of the shirt.  He says if anyone’s interested in buying one of “his Lonewolf T Shirts” to send him a message.  He says he also will be selling his Lonewolf T Shirts at Powwows, and may be selling them on You Tube.  So make sure you send him a personal message on how to make that transaction!

Not the easiest thing to track down. There's a Cherokee Wolf Clan in Yuma Tennessee and another in Indiana. The Echota of Alabama also have a group they call Wolf Clan. And Lonewolf has got to be one of the most common online nics.

Could this be him posting all these vids?

Plus a Lonewolf made quite a few comments on an article about unrecognized "Cherokee" groups.

This could be his myspace.

The mix of corny horror images posing as pagan, thongs, and bad silicone implants on that page leave me at a loss for words.

I looked at Lonewolf13Scott’s You Tube Channel and notice that he claims his home town as “Cherokee Nation”, http://www.youtube.com/user/lonewolf13scott  and he claims his occupation as “Teacher of the REAL HISTORY”.  It’s really disturbing to think that this man is going around to Powwows teaching his fabricated version of Cherokee History and Culture and distorting and mocking Cherokee and American Indian Ceremony and Traditions.

And in reference to this fraud bestowing Cherokee names on people.  For Cherokees that do  have a Cherokee name, it would have been given to them by someone special in their family or community, and it is rarely used in public, and DEFINITELY NOT broadcast on the internet, and NOT in public forums over loud speakers at powwows.   Thunder Fox, Strong Wolf, Running Wolf, Sprit Moon, Winddancer?  These are not even Cherokee names.  Most of the names I can see that he has given people appear to be his own twisted interpretation of Indian sounding names that he just made up.  These are the kind of names that non-Indians give themselves when they want to pretend to be Cherokee or Indian     For the most part, Cherokees that had or have Cherokees names, have names such as Young Duck, Hog Shooter, Dirteater, Frog, Rabbit, Corn tassel, Deer in the Water etc.  A lot of Cherokees today have Anglicized and European names like everyone else.

I also think it’s a mockery of what he’s doing with the painted Turkey Feathers that he probably bought somewhere for a few dollars, and anyone that knows anything about Cherokee Clans knows how insulting and embarrassing this guy’s actions are.  Also, anyone that’s ever heard the Cherokee language spoken by a fluent speaker could appreciate how bad he butchered the language in his videos.  I agree with flyaway.  This guy is a total embarrassment to the Cherokee people.  The worst part about it, is that many of the people that have been deceived by this fraud don’t know any better.

Wouldn’t this fall under copyright infringement?  Lonewolf is basically reproducing or recreating Bill Miller’s entire story, “Many Trails”, with himself as the narrator and filming his interpretation of the story.  I seriously doubt he consulted with Bill Miller on this.  Good work dabosijigwokush.
Also, If Lonewolf is Cherokee, I would assume he would tell Cherokee stories?  Are Coyotes an important part of Cherokee culture?  I thought Rabbit was the Trickster?
