I saw so much positive.. of course, the positive is within and it's expressed with words not
pictures. The negative was the pictures of the material side of life..
I don't quite understand that blog, because when I watched it, I saw the children talking
and telling their stories.. ?
I guess everyone is going to view it one way or another, however, life is never one way or
another, it's always a mix of everything.. and at least for many who never knew the
challenges of Pine Ridge, they do now.. and maybe some will invest in businesses there
as was spoke of..
I liked it that it was brought up that the American Government did this to the Lakota..
Sometimes, one feels "damned if you do, and damned if you don't"..
I didn't feel or think "sorry" for those poor people.. as the blog expressed. I'm sure
many people did.. but what one feels is their own feelings.. and no one can police that
or change what a person will or will not feel..
The condition the American Gov created here was talked about and I don't see where
it can be denied that it is as it is or that there is much hope and a strong future
for the Lakota.
I guess if the Lakota don't like this sort of thing, then they should have refused her
and the camera crew and had them escorted off their land and out of their nation.
I really don't know.. you see.. if I could help I would.. but then I read these kinds of
things and think, well, maybe if I could, I'd better not..
Although I know in my heart if I could, I would.. because I actually care about people, any
kind of people, who go without heat in the winter, or without food.. or proper shelter..
or schools.. so I would.. and I would refuse to be made to feel bad for caring and acting on it..
