Arooka New Mexico? There's no rez or town with any name even close to it in NM. Closest I found was this, a nonprofit civil rights group that sometimes does sweats. (There's no mention of them being sold.)

Tourette him sounds like a bad French joke...accusing someone of having tourette's? ::) Sure as hell doesn't sound Apache.

Haven't found any artist named Isaac Barry. There was an anthro Barry L Isaac who did a lot of research on S American tribes.
No sign of Faish, Foyle, or this Torshan he claims to have learned from.

It sounds like Kouflis just pulled bits and pieces from books and invented his claims.
This seems to be him and "Joel" in Jerusalem, surrounded by confused, curious, and amused people doing a dance that turns into ring around the rosey for adults, with their dogs and kids running around. There's even a poor woman in a wheelchair dragged into this.

Ok...looks like the English spelling of his name is Eyal Kopelis (or Koplis).

The video Cat just posted is of an interview in Israel with Eyal and a man named Joel.  Joel is the "Apache Medicine Man" referred to in the bio EducatedNDN posted.

The second part is here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w47izVvBAGg

No idea who Joel is yet.  Still watching the interviews.  He mentions Mescalero a lot.  Basically he's claiming the Los Lunas Decalogue Stone as proof of a Jewish/Native Connection.  Something we've seen before with The Northern Cherokee Nation of the Old Louisiana Territory (now disbanded I believe), who have made the claim that they have an oral history that proves the Cherokees are descendents of ancient Hebrews.

For those that don't know.  The Los Lunas Decalogue stone is a large boulder (about 800 pounds) on a mountain a few miles outside of Los Lunas, NM.  While Joel claims the stone was discovered just "a number of years ago" the Decalogue Stone was first written about in the 1930's by an archaeologist from UNM named Frank Hibben who had an unnamed guide show it to him.  The guide listed his initial discovery of the stone around the 1880's.  There's a lot of speculation about the stone.  It appears to be written in "Old Hebrew" or the adopted Phoenician script used by Hebrews in ancient times.  A few different translations seem to reveal this is an abridged version of the Ten Commandments.  There's a few problems with the theory that this rock proves an ancient Jewish connection:  #1-It can't be dated properly, the stone has been washed and scrubbed with brushes several times affecting its patina.  #2-Nobody can agree exactly on what script is being used, there are grammatical errors, misspelled words, etc.  #3-Since the earliest known date of its discovery can only be pinned down to the 1880's, and the ancient Phoenician/Old Hebrew script was still known then, the possibility of its creation being relatively new (in the 1800's) can't be ruled out, especially when you compare it to the beliefs of the Mormons who may be responsible for its creation.

The only conclusion about the Los Lunas Decalogue stone is that there is no definite conclusion about it yet, so it's not any real proof of anything.

Now....knowing that, I have a problem with Joel, who, at about 7:20 of the first video, claimed the stone was carbon dated and proven to be 3000 years old.  Which is a falsehood or, at best, a misrepresentation.  The Los Lunas Decalogue Stone has a "carving" on it....not writing with a foreign substance, but pieces cut out of the rock.  There's no way to carbon date when rock was removed from another rock.

The third video is here:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fuEXT1q3bP0&feature=plcp

In this one, Kopelis and Joel sing a song and he prays a little, and some more interview.  Joel, for the most part, just gives some Apache history, but the interviewer wants to know about the Hopi prophecy, Mt. Shasta....and a few other topics, and he gives his thoughts on those.

All in all, Joel doesn't seem like he's selling anything, but gives Kopelis jussssst enough confidence to think that he can speak for all Natives from his association with Joel and others.  The person who taught him sweat lodge he only mentions as Alfonso who made Kopelis a member of the Native American Church of North America (which means he went to a Peyote meeting).

His site does advertise that he will perform sweatlodges, purifications, drum building workshops, talking circles etc etc.....and participants get "discounts" on other products he's selling.  Workshops include a sweatlodge ceremony...etc etc......

He definitely calls himself a medicine man.....

While it's obvious this guy is using Native spiritual ways as selling points for his workshops, I have a feeling we may have someone who simply doesn't know any better and hasn't had anybody tell him, so I'd be hesitant to move him to "frauds", but we definitely need more info on him.

I feel like I've just been to a pretendian bar mitzvah. Or a non-traditional Jewish wedding where somebody's weird uncle got drunk and stole a hand drum. That was really awkward and embarrassing. "Heylah Heylah Hey..." I felt like someone should be playing the kazoo.

The video of the "Heylah Heylah" is actually part of something called Jerusalem Hug.  On their website, they say they solicit local "musicians" to participate in the ceremony.  It is some sort of global peace initiative and they have been having these "hug" ceremonies since 2007.  This is their website:  http://jerusalemhug.org/  Most of their music accompaniment is very good and tends toward the Calypso/African beat, but they missed out in 2011 with the Native American theme and apparently Mr. Kopelis and Joel volunteered (what a sorry performance).

I'm not sure about Joel. He may be Apache, but he gets some very basic things wrong. For all his talk of being Mescalero, he mostly talks about Geronimo, who was Chiricahua, and seems to think Geronimo was the leader of all Apaches when he just led a small band.

But Joel doesn't seem to be out to make himself out to be a great healer. It's the others who keep pushing to call him that. Earlier I mentioned what I mistakenly thought was a frail woman in a wheelchair. This is a paraplegic man who claims to be a shaman. In that video he tells Joel that people keep telling him he has many Indian spirits or past lives. And Joel, seemingly not to emotionally disappoint a frail person, gives him a general answer saying we are all people in this world. Then Kouflis wants Joel to talk about ties between Israelites and NDNs, the lost tribes claim. And Joel gives the same kind of general answer again, we are all tribal people.

I wonder if all of them met through Jerusalem Hug or some other well meaning but so fluffy as to be useless group like them, and are now just telling each other stories they would like to be true. Joel perhaps did so because it was a way to get a free trip to Israel, and all he has to do is not disappoint the social circles surrounding the well meaning if wrong person confined to a wheelchair. "Peace" groups like this bug me, because they don't do much besides fool the participants into thinking they do anything besides give a temporary warm feeling. If they marched together calling for an end to the harm done in the Israeli/Palestine conflict, I'd certainly respect that more than dancing in silly looking circles for "personal transformation."
