Pete Jackson Gila River

Does anyone know who Pete Jackson is?  He is sending emails to my step-father, Dwight Monroe (Maidu nation) to see if the elders at Sherman Indian High School would like him to speak.

Pete Jackson, a Native Elder from the Gila River Indian Community located in southern Arizona has been requested by other Elders to share his knowledge about the soul, purpose of life on Earth, cycles of life, ceremonial practices, spiritual growth, and prophesy because of the current and upcoming earth events. Pete will share with you on Saturday, June 19, 2010, 1:30pm-4:30pm in the Chapel.  $20 donation.
At an early age Pete Jackson was taken into Native ceremonies.  While very young, his Ancestors delegated a Spirit Guide to show him why and how certain ceremonies were conducted, gradually through visions this went into earth changes, the hierarchy of the Creator, and how a millennium of peace will evolve on earth.
Pete Jackson believes he is not different from any Individual, that anyone given the right information, instructions, and direction can gain Universal wisdom, grow spiritually, and lead a peaceful life.

I never met him, but I heard the name more than a few times when I lived in Phoenix. If you do a search for "Peter Jackson" Gila, you get his name coming up as part of their elder care programs.

It sounds like he's basically making a speech and charging for it. It might do Sedona's barrel of nuts and flakes good to hear something likely to be far more accurate. Though it won't surprise me also if they twist what he says.
