She's all about core shamanism, along with "compassionate depossession" and "curse unraveling". Also "seidr".

Seidr is a shamanic and spiritual practice that has it's origins in antiquity. It was practiced by Norse and Germanic peoples as well as the indigenous Saami people.
Quote
I was introduced to Seidr in England where it has been offered and embraced as a root part of western shamanism. My teachers, Karen Kelly and Shenoah Taylor were in turn taught by Annette Host who has been studying, practicing and teaching Seidr for more than 2 decades.

She comes from Coastal Salish and Saami heritage combined with Scandinavian and Scottish ancestry.

Interesting note about that heritage claim - her website can be looked over via the Wayback Machine, there are captures since 2006. But it isn't until April 2011 that her site has this claim, the prior capture in March 2011 does not have it, nor do the years prior.

Outside of the core shame-ons, no other specific names.

I did find an older link  from 2005 where Ingerman claims Bergstrom was Salish, and that her being a medium supposedly came straight from Salish tradition.
http://www.sandraingerman.com/tnjuly2005.html At bottom.

Doing searches for Salish medium traditions doesn't turn up anything.

I wonder how likely is it one of her parents was both Sami and Salish? Sami and Swedish, etc, is more likely, but that's not Bergstrom's claim. Instead it's all European ancestry from one parent and all indigenous from the other.

There is a Saami population in and around Poulsbo, Wa. My mother-in-law talked fondly of one member who she picked berries with during the depression. I don't know if any of these people intermarried with either of the two tribes here. Could be. As for a trad medium thing for Coastal Salish? That would be a stretch.

As well as extensive training with both indigenous shamans and in classical shamanism, Betsy is a lineage holder and dharma protector in the Tibetan Shije tradition of Chöd in the lineage of Machik Lapdron and Padampa Sangye dedicated to sharing Dakini Wisdom.

Chöd is an ancient initiatic and ritual practice that dates from the early 10th century, tracing its origins to the great yogini-dakini Machig Labdrön of Tibet and the tantric adept Padampa Sangye of India.

This is the first time that Betsy Bergstrom will be sharing this body work in Europe and it offers a rare opportunity to be tutored by an authorized lineage holder and carrier of an authorized lineage transmission.

Betsey says her specific teacher is Lama Wangdu

Please Note: Participants should have extensive experience with shamanic journeying to attend either of these trainings. These residential trainings are running back to back and priority will be given to those people who wish to undertake both the Basic and the Advanced components.
