Pathweaver is of Cherokee descent and has dedicated her life to Spiritual Studies.  In the Metaphysical World she is known as a Tarot Card Master and for Medicine Wheel Readings.  Pathweaver has taught extensively over the East and West Coast focusing on healing aspects and creating and using positive personal power.

Pathweaver studied with Michael Harner (The Way of the Shaman).  She then studied with Grandmother Twyla Nitch (Head of the Seneca Wolf Clan).  Her interest and dedication to spiritual studies continued to grow and she then became an apprentice to Sun Bear.  In 1985, she moved to Spokane Washington and became a member of the Bear Tribe where she became one of their principal teachers and Vision Quest leaders.

Her birth name Saundra (maybe Sandra) Neiswonger. A married surname of Buckner and then another of Crombie. Saundra Crombie is her name in public voter records, Washington state. She is in her early 70s.

I figured out her birth name through an engagement notice for her daughter that gives some family names http://www.kentuckynewera.com/living/engagements/article_d341c210-571d-55f1-967e-42bdf9ff94a6.html and obits for her mother and father http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=35535966 http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=brendajoy13&id=I24005 https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/2MDV-2KY?cc=2199956 https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/2MDV-2KY?cc=2199956 Also she is listed Saundra L Neiswonger on her daughter's birth record.

Looking over her genealogy, don't see any recent Cherokee in census, obits, or other records.

Apprenticeship classes
In the first year of training the emphasis is placed on all aspects of energy.  This includes but is not limited to: healing techniques, auras, manifesting, the power of words and beliefs, elements, ceremony.

The second year builds on the foundations created in the first year of study.  The Medicine Wheel and all of its dimensions are introduced, including Medicine Wheel Readings and how Earth Astrology can relate to others.  The door is opened for the apprentice to experience of journeys, which is a start on the path to Shamanism.

All third year apprentices will focus on the different aspects of communicating with “Great Spirit”.  This includes but is not limited to Vision Quest, dream work, ceremonies, drumming and rattling to create altered space, oracles, power animals, self empowerment, psychic awareness and Spiritual attunement.
