I suspect most wannabes will dismiss it as not being about them because "they're not white, they're really truly Cherokee."

The capacity of people in power to fool themselves (ourselves) is a force stronger than truth...and that stinks.

Yeh.. many would probably think it's  a celebration of the "indian" inside all of us..

I got a laugh out of it, but oh--the humor feels sardonic to me.  So many people Just Don't Get It.  Pagan Pride day is coming up around here as is a conference which has made it onto your Forum before; both events have me bracing for what the latest travesty is gonna entail.

While researching folks like Robin Youngblood and Maria Yraceburu, at some point in the process I have to watch this video again. The song is the theme song for so many pretendians.
