Hi everyone,

I use Tarot card cards as a tool for personal development/fun and came across this set:https://www.etsy.com/listing/525202783/new-all-paths-native-american-major?&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=shopping_us_b-home_and_living-spirituality_and_religion-divination_tools-tarot&utm_custom1=e29be8ad-b499-4625-9815-4ffd317ea04c&gclid=CjwKEAjw9_jJBRCXycSarr3csWcSJABthk07v314IPr8FDaIC7Tg2TUATUgu7jNkoHgvSQATSLe_MhoC13Xw_wcB

The creator describes herself as: "Many thanks to Barbara Clark, native Oklahoma Cherokee, the Dreamkeeper & Owner of All Spiritualist Paths Native American shop in Sapulpa, Oklahoma for her time, wisdom, guidance, support & many books which helped make this deck possible!"

Also her Flickr account: https://www.flickr.com/photos/barbaradreamkeeper/

Have you heard of her?

I would love a good old recipe for corn soup. I am also looking for the words and ritual for a Cherokee hand fasting ceremony.
I am Cherokee on both sides of my family (not carded) Delaware Lenape also along with Irish and Scottish too. I feel Cherokee anyway, no matter how much blood I have or don't have. NO one can take that from you. I am looking for the links to my ancestors but I don't care if I ever get a card it is how I feel that counts.

The above is from a 2004 posting on a genealogy forum. Barbara Clark states that she is not enrolled in a federally recognized tribe, that she does not know her genealogy, and that her feelings are more important than reality.

Tarot Cards are not Cherokee. Nor are they traditional to any tribe or Nation.

"Cherokee medicine and spiritual practices do not include tarot cards, palmistry, psychic readings or sweatlodge ceremonies.

"One may assume that anyone claiming to be a Cherokee 'shaman, spiritual healer, or pipe- carrier,' is equivalent to a modern day medicine show and snake-oil vendor."
