I did send Vidal a email as to his claims and he simply emailed me back "tell it to a Marine" LOL as he states he is a marine and much more. I googled "Central Illinois Tribal Council" and there is much info there on this fraud.

More info. and sites on Vidal. From looking at all the info. this fraud has been one for a very long time with addresses all over the country. Seems he has set up shop in Tuscola, Illinois where it is known to be Omish country.

Also would like to say that after emailing him and getting a reply my computer ended up with two trojans so it is of my opinion that unless you have a LOT of security on your computer emailing these "nuts" may not be a wise thing to do.

I am unaware of any legitimate Metis "tribe" but am assuming that this is another person who chooses to create an association, based on a legitimate term for a recognized Aboriginal group, the Metis.'

Why do they seem to think that calling themselves "Metis" brings an appearance of legitimacy that calling themselves "part Indian" does not.

By the way, some of us are born Metis, so we don't have to pay a fee to call ourselves that!
