It all looks rather suspicious in terms of pan_Indigeneity, self-referencing legitimacy, and odd spiritual and cultural practices. So i’m Wondering if the founder Dr. Edward C Sullivan and Lone Wolf Dancing on Thunder are operating a legit practice and school. It looks like quackery - conferring 3 “doctorates” in 3 years for $12,000

Founded by Dr. Edward C. Sullivan in 2005, the Institute of Bioenergetic Medicine (IBEM) is a Natural Medicine School located in Centennial, Colorado outside of Denver. Its first Bioenergetic Medicine classes were launched by Dr. Sullivan in 2007. IBEM is the first doctorate education program of Bio-Energetic Medicine (BD) in North America. We obtained our federal 501(C)(3) non-profit organization status summer of 2014 as a natural medicine school and American Indian seminary.
Today IBEM is a global traditional Pan American Indian Medicine educational, spiritual program. Our graduates practice in Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, as well as India, Mexico and Singapore.
OUR MISSION
IBEM is a nonprofit, educational, cultural and American Indian spiritual association (seminary), and a Ecclesiastical Private Expressive Association, as defined by law. IBEM is dedicated to preserving the Pan-American Indian Spiritual teachings. These teachings include the traditional Indian priest/healers' natural healing practices. This Natural Medicine of the Indians is also called "the Natural Way" (Earth Spirituality) or "Earth Medicine."

Each IBEM seminary graduate is a minister and priest of Institute of BioEnergetic Medicine (IBEM) seminary and will assert their rights as American citizens under these laws. As ministers and priests, our graduates are considered to be Pastoral Health Practitioners and Counselors and Natural Doctors in accordance with traditional Pan-American Indian Medicine practice.

The IBEM Doctoral BioEnergetic Medicine (BD) coursework is a credentialed program with a diploma issued by the Institute of BioEnergetic Medicine (IBEM).
The Doctoral of Natural Medicine Program (DNM) runs in conjunction with the Doctoral BioEnergetic Program (BD) and Doctoral Sacred Medicine Program. This enable our students to earn separate degrees in Bioenergetics Medicine, Natural Medicine, and Sacred Medicine at the same time. The BD, DNM, and DSM are religious doctorates. Ordination to the actual ministry is conferred by the First Nation Church and Sacred Way First Nations Assemblies.
Students taking the Natural Medicine coursework are prepared to test for certification through both the American Naturopathic Certification Board (ANCB) and American Naturopathic Medical Association (ANMA) Certification Boards. Although IBEM is not accredited by ANCB or ANMA, our graduates are allowed to sit for the ANMACB certification examination in Natural Medicine.
The Certified Nutritional Wellness (CNW) Practitioner Program which runs concurrently with the Bioenergetic Medicine Doctorate (BD) and Natural Medicine Doctorate (DNM) programs is also recognized by the American Naturopathic Certification Board (ANCB).

Based upon the Kituwa Society, the Cherokee First Nation cultures and other First Nations cultures such as the Ojibwe, the Medicine Wheel Society of First Nations is an independent, esoteric, spiritual organization of ordained, ceremonial First Nations Church ministers who engage in natural healing methods of emotional, mental, physical and spiritual problems in accordance with historic spiritual traditions, and teachings of Native Americans.

Welcome to Institute of BioEnergetic Medicine (IBEM)! We are a natural healing seminary dedicated to the spiritual principles of Native American Medicine (NAM) which includes North and South America, and the empirical experiences of traditional Natural Doctors. WHAT IS BIOENERGETIC MEDICINE?
Bioenergetic medicine is a system of medicine distinct and separate from all other forms of medicine practiced today.
It is separate from:
Naturopathy
Osteopathy
Chiropractic
Traditional Chinese Medicine
Recognizing that the human body functions:
Chemically
Structurally
Biologically
Bioenergetically

It primarily focuses on correcting any bioenergetic imbalance in the body. It is believed that such an imbalance will lead to functional imbalances that can also develop into organic imbalances.
?Ojibwe is a Native Indian tribe that uses the term "kina-gebizhi gomih", which translates to "bioenergetic". Native American tribes believe that all of the universe is connected at the most basic level of matter. Bioenergetic Doctors are able to use spiritual and traditional native medicine to help patients to heal themselves.
WHAT IS NATURAL MEDICINE?
Natural Medicine is a distinct and separate healing art. It does not include the use of drugs or surgery. The Doctor of Natural Medicine (DNM) degree is recognized in 144 countries and also by WHO (World Health Organization). It is not to be confused with Doctorate of Naturopathy (ND) a separate healthcare practice and profession that is recognized in five countries and licensed in a small number of states in the USA, some of which allow a restricted use of drug therapy and minor surgery as part of its practice.
DNMs are not licensed in various states and prefer not to be licensed since the practice of Natural Medicine is safe and poses no risk to the public. Natural Medicine is based on the Vital Life Force (Spirit) and Natural Doctors do not make a medical diagnosis or treat disease. DNM's attempt only to restore balance to the Vital Life Force of their client/patients. When the Vital Life Force of the patient or client is in balance, the patient cannot be or become sick according to Natural Medicine.

Dr. Sullivan (DC, DNM, BD, PhD, DSM) is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and has held licenses to practice chiropractic in Colorado, Mississippi, and Washington. In addition, he has licenses in psychotherapy in Washington, Florida, and Colorado. After obtaining a Master of Arts degree in psychology from Antioch University and a doctoral degree from Union Institute, he earned a Doctor of Natural Medicine certificate from the American Naturopathic Medical Certification Board. Dr. Sullivan obtained his acupuncture diploma at the National Chinese TAI-EE Acupuncture College which was founded in 1836 at Fukien, China. He also has completed acupuncture diplomas in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Ottawa School of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. Supplementing these diplomas and degrees, he holds diplomas in Biofeedback.
Dr. Sullivan is also a member of the Medicine Wheel Society of First Nation, an independent esoteric spiritual organization of ordained ceremonial ministers of First Nation Church. These ministers engage in natural healing methods of emotional, physical and spiritual problems in accordance with historic spiritual traditions and teachings of American Indians specifically Kituwa and Cherokee First Nation. Dr Sullivan's practice specializes in Natural Medicine and the IBEM Medicine Wheel as well as the following therapies:
Auricular Medicine, a needless and painless therapy applied to various acupuncture points on the ear, to treat a vast array of disorders, and
Bioenergetic Medicine, a combination of biofeedback testing and therapy with homeopathic, herbal, and nutritional therapies.
In addition, Dr. Sullivan teaches at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
He also is a member of "The Central Band of Cherokee" Roll Number 2002, the Oklevueha Native American Church. and an honorary member of the Mishi-Mackinack Confederacy of Ojibwe and Odawa Indians. In 2007 Dr. Sullivan founded the Institute of BioEnergetic Medicine (IBEM), the first doctoral program for Bioenergetic Medicine in North America. Through IBEM, Dr. Sullivan has been able to pursue a lifelong goal to nurture, educate and certify dedicated and passionate students in Auricular, Biofeedback, Natural Medicine, and Bioenergetic Medicine. IBEM also offers extensive coursework in other areas such as Medicine Wheel, Capno Breath training, Bone Setting, Violet Ray Therapy and disease management, as well a a host of other classes. Dr. Sullivan personally teaches many of these classes on a regular basis, further demonstrating his commitment to wellness and healing. He is also a Board Member.

Lone Wolf Dancing On Thunder is an accomplished American Indian leader and teacher for the past 12 years. He is the Spiritual Director and Advisor to the Presiding Elder of the Medicine Wheel Society of First Nations. He holds a Bachelor of Theology degree from the St. Lukes Theological Seminary as well as a Master of Science, Law Enforcement degree from the Concordia University.
Lone Wolf Dancing On Thunder is a member of the Mackinac Band of Chippewa (Ojibwe) and Odawa Indians, a state recognized tribe in Michigan.Recently he has been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors for the Institute of BioEnergetic Medicine. He is also an instructor in American Indian Spirituality and Studies at the Institute of BioEnergetic Medicine (IBEM).
