I just found out in Facebook what happened to the original content of http://www.2012hoax.org/:

January 2, 2013 ·

2012hoax.org is officially closing today!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the site. As I've said before, we did a good thing here.

I am also pleased to announce that our new site is 'up' although we are still in the process of copying over the relevant articles from this site. The domain forwarding has been updated, and within 24 hours or so, all queries for 2012hoax.org will redirect to cosmophobia.org. Our new forum site is also up, running on a phpBB3 forum hosted by Artelis

Please visit our new home at http://www.cosmophobia.org and our new forum site at http://www.cosmophobia.artelis.co.uk/

We also have a new Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/cosmophobia

The forum site is, alas, not to be found, the two other links work.

Since then only one more post has been added to the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/2012hoax/:

The site is kept up for people to read, but we stopped using it as a live site after the big 2012 doomsday passed. We started Cosmophobia so people would still be able to come and talk and ask questions. Check Cosmophobia out on Facebook.

I [a]feel very sorry and sad to see that the original content is gone …
[…]
Is the original site archived or retrievable in any way?

I now feel great comfort and happiness, having found that the original information has indeed ben preserved, e.g. the article about the non-existing Planet Nibiru:

http://www.cosmophobia.org/nibiru/index.html — I especially remember and like the laconic heading in red:

The object known as "Nibiru" does not exist.
