Sells a hodgepodge of core shame-onism and what she claims are African and Peruvian practices.

"Eva Rose Goetz BFA, M.S.Ed. Visionary Artist.
Goetz studied Psychospiriatul mapping with Brugh Joy, Core Shamanism with Evelyn Rysdyk and Allie Knowlton, and Light Body Energy Medicine with Alberto Villoldo and Lisa Summerlot. Goetz is a graduate of Four Winds Healing the Light Body School. She is currently working with Peruvian Medicine Man Jose Luis Herrera and indigenous medicine people in Peru. Goetz continues her studies with Four Winds."

Four Winds and Villoldo have been discussed before as frauds.

Herrera

"formally educated in civil engineering and computer science, Jose Luis Herrera's true talents and skills are evidenced in the exquisite beauty and heart he brings to his shamanic teachings. A native of Cusco, Jose Luis was born into the medicine traditions of the Andes. For the past 15 years, he has extensively traveled and studied the different medicine traditions of the Andes, and has worked with Peru's most respected medicine people. Jose Luis is a trained naturalist, as well as a mountain and trekking guide. His deep connection with the Apus has led him to climb many mountains in Peru and Bolivia, and he is one of the foremost expedition leaders in Peru."

In other words, an engineer who now leads hiking expeditions, a not medicine man.

Brugh Joy is pretty vague about what he teaches.

An anticult forum has some pretty harsh words for him.

Another skeptic site isn't sure if Joy is a fraud when he claims to sense energies, or actually believes it himself.

Rysdyk and Knowlton are Harner franchisees.

http://www.truenorthhealthcenter.org/rysdyk_knowlton.asp
"Shamanic Practitioners C. Allie Knowlton, MSW, LCSW, DCSW, and Evelyn C. Rysdyk, spiritual artist and author of Modern Shamanic Living, have dedicated their lives to the ancient, Earth-centered, visionary ways of the shaman. Allie and Evie are in joint practice and have studied with Michael Harner, Ph.D. and Sandra Ingerman, LMFT, LPCC. They are graduates of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies Three-Year Program in Advanced Shamanism and Shamanic Healing and have also been fortunate to study with indigenous teachers including Fredy "Puma" Quispe Singona of Peru, AiChurek from Tuva and the late Mikhail Duvan, last male shaman of the Ulchi of Siberia"

What she sells.

Begins October 12-14, 2007 South
April 4-6, 2008 West
September 19-21, 2008 North

Techniques and wisdom teachings of the South Americas become our tools and doorway for discovery. These earth-based teachings are designed for healing and widening our energetic container. We face each direction and remember and reset ourselves once again to Pacha Mama's rhythms. By creating and holding a safe container for each other we courageously begin unwinding stories and beliefs that no longer serve us. Here we heal ourselves, and from these humble beginnings we may catch our destiny. We meet for four weekends. This class is for those who are dedicated toward walking a path of responsibility, consciousness, and heart. Also for those interested in alternative healing. Practical hands-on skills are part of the learning. Led by Eva Rose Goetz and Jake Young will assist.
Location: Pacha Works, Falmouth, Maine
Cost: $395 includes meals and snacks (lovingly prepared by Maria Sanchez) for 3 days. A non-refundable deposit of $200 goes toward the last weekend and will hold your space.

Class Size: 12 participants. Attending all 4 weekends required.
