Who is David 'bearclaw' Abrams?

http://www.planetarycitizens.org/events-old/presenters.html

Quote
David, of Cherokee descent, was a professional horse trainer for more than 20 years. Throughout his training career, he fostered respectful partnerships with the horses in his care, keeping a small stable so that all of his horses received close personal attention. David was spiritually mentored by a Shoshone Sundance Chief and medicine man. He is a Sundancer, a medicine pipe carrier, and keeps a ceremonial lodge on his small Wyoming ranch.

A fake, in other words.

That alleged Shoshone chief, I wonder if it could have been Mala Pope?

This group has been briefly mentioned before.

I see Abrams also peddles claims about Hopi prophecies to tourists in Jackson Hole.

The Hopi Prophecies: Facing One Last Chance
written for the Jackson Hole Guide - 3/20/02
by Carol Mann

Part One

David Bearclaw AbramĀ¹s eyes get misty when he talks about how urgent it is to love, honor and respect one another, all life forms and our earth. Why his eyes tear up, silently imploring us to pay attention, is because David knows the Native American Prophecies for these times. They preview the imminent end of this world cycle, and potentially the end of the human race, unless we quickly return to a path of heart.

David is of Cherokee descent. He lives in Star Valley and is a ceremonialist, sun dancer and pipe carrier. He lives by and teaches the Native American truth of "Mitakuye Oyasin", that we are all related. He is among many Native American elders who are being urged by Spirit to speak out about the prophecies. He and I have spent many hours talking. I plan to write a series of articles based on what we would like you to know from our conversations.....

Part Two

This is part two of a series of three articles resulting from my recent conversations with David Bearclaw Abrams about the Hopi prophecies for our times.

David is one of many Native American elders who are being urged by Spirit to share these teachings. The reason for revealing these once secret predictions is that there is always the opportunity for mankind to wake up and to embrace a path of peace, even if that is measured one person at a time....

Part Three

This is the final article in a series of three which were stimulated in part by recent conversations with Grandfather David Bearclaw Abrams. David lives here and is a Cherokee pipe carrier, sun dancer and ceremonialist. We both pray you take this into your hearts....

If you would like information on books, websites and workshops related to the Hopi Prophecies, please e-mail me at my address listed below. David Bearclaw Abrams can be reached at: abrams@silverstar.com.

There is a 'David Abrams' mentioned in the 'Mist Filled Path' by Frank MacEowen (another new-age Ne0-Celt) on page xvii;

David Abrams of Whidby Island for his 'delicious words' and 'Shamanic magic'

Whether this is the same man I do not know, but this compendium of credits by the author is a veritable catalogue of scurrilous frauds and cheats. I can write down all the names is necessary for further investigation.

cheers

David

brams is on Whidby? Then I am betting the "shoshone chief" is Bennie LeBeau. Bennie has a following on Whidby.  Nice island, too bad the nuagers invaded.
