Not long after my involvement with The Roll Study, I had an opportunity to put those research findings into practice and to learn even more, this time from the Native American culture, when I was asked to heal one of the Hopi tribal elders, Grandfather David Monongya. He was in Los Angeles to raise consciousness regarding the strip mining at Big Mountain, site of one of the first conflicts over the Hopi-Navajo tribal land. Grandfather David had cataracts. I laid hands on his body and very quickly moved to his head and laid hands on his eyes. He seemed to know exactly what I was doing. About the time I was actually beginning to accomplish something that I felt was healing, he said, "Oh, I see much better now. Please sit down." Of course I had not healed him, and in a manner of speaking, as it turned out, I ended up receiving a healing from him. He called to two or three other people in the house, and we listened for five hours as he related the Hopi prophecy. (See Appendix II for a summary of the Hopi prophecy.) I was stunned by the similarities between the story of the Apocalypse in Revelation and the predictions for the "end time" in Hopi.

The Hopi medicine wheel, as taught by Rosalyn Bruyere (and there is much more to it than this, but I’m just telling you about a tiny piece right now), has four quarters. Each is associated with a part of the whole person: the physical, the mental, the emotional, the spiritual. In order for there to be healing, it must take place in at least two of these four quarters....

I have removed from the veronicasgarden post any reference to any Native American tribe and the medicine wheel. Rosalyn confirmed that I did (unintentionally) misrepresent her teachings, i.e., she does not teach the medicine wheel as a Hopi concept. I was repeating from memory something I had learned quite a few years ago, and obviously I got it wrong. For what it's worth, that particular workshop was not primarily about the medicine wheel, though she talked about it some. I have never presented myself as any kind of expert in any Native American teachings or practices. When I said this was a Hopi concept, it was not with any desire to profit from that, but with the intention to give proper attribution to an idea which was not my own. I thought I was being conscientious, but clearly I need to be more careful than that. Please accept my sincere apology.

Thank you for doing that. That certainly makes you far more honest than Bruyere herself. On her own site and others she still lies like crazy and proclaims herself to be a Native medicine woman in several traditions. Such a person can't be relied on for teachings of any kind.

I notice you have posts on your blog about Ted Andrews, a fraud and exploiter like his wife Lynn Andrews. We have threads dedicated to them as well that you should see.

She is advertising a workshop in Hawai'i now  According to an interview on her website dated June 2012:

I had some important insights about the indigenous people there. I’ve always been connected to indigenous people. I was given the great gift of meeting people from the local tribe where I was teaching. I felt the same connection to them that I do with First Nations people here.
