Sitting Bull Bars in Sweden
« on: September 01, 2010, 07:24:42 pm »
Got this request for advice and help. First is his message followed by my response.

-----------------

Hey folks, name is Patrick Williams living here in Sweden. Quickly, I am  wondering if you might be able to help me or refer me to someone that might help.
There is a lot of use or abuse of the name Sitting Bull over here in Sweden. The most peculiar is a bar adorned with many photos of the Lakota people, and of course Sitting Bull.
It irks me quite frankly. Any advice on a direction to take?

Kind regards, Patrick

I will post your message on the board. We have some Lakota members and they will tell you what Lakota people would think of this. Publishing their words in Swedish papers may change a few minds about this practice.

We also have a Swedish member you may wish to contact, Annika Banfeld.
