I am new here, a non-native with some interest in NA culture. My background is eastern european but I live in England. It makes me very cross whenever I see someone exploiting people, whatever bait they use for that purpose. I also wish to understand more about the issues surrounding New age healing practices. A lot of people in the west find orthodox medicine lacking and this is why they turn to alternatives. Those alternatives are largely based on native practices. There should be a way to help people without causing disrespect to native peoples or damage to their heritage (I hope!). Thank you for allowing me a voice on your board.
