Declaration of War banner campaign
« on: September 25, 2007, 05:44:00 pm »
I've been thinking for a while now of doing some kind of banner campaign around the protection of ceremonies.

The idea is to make a graphic that people can put on their webpages and profiles, with a link to a site for more info.  I was thinking "I support the Declaration Of War Against Exploiters Of Lakota Spirituality" and then a link to the document.  The URL I've been using for text links is
http://www.geocities.com/ourredearth/declaration.html

Thoughts?  Would it be better to make the wording and URL more broad-based, about "protection of ceremonies"?   I think having "Declaration of War" on it communicates the seriousness of the situation, and is what I prefer, but I could also see the point of having one that's less provocative.  There's also no reason to limit it to one version.

Preferred colors, images, or ones to avoid?

This was a good idea that no one picked up. Maybe it is possible to revive it?

There are two topics in here with identical titles (Declaration Of War Against Exploiters Of Lakota Spirituality):

http://www.newagefraud.org/smf/index.php?topic=3094.0

The URL I've been using for text links is  http://www.geocities.com/ourredearth/declaration.html

That link now goes to https://www.yahoo.com/. The article has been moved to this URL:
