okay now that I'm getting more fimilar with these forums lol, here it goes, ummmmm lol I'm Kiowa/Italian ayeeee, and have a sense of humor lol....I'm exposing the fakes and frauds of St. Louis but somehow Missouri seemed to need help with this issue, lol I'm a full time artist/demonstrator, I've been to museums to show my ancestors givin talent, I still brain tan hides and beadwork...my eyes where open to this kind of mockery from wannabe's at an early age, I am old enough now to speak for myself and understand that I am a help to my tribe, and other American Indian artist that are kept hidden within our communities, we for one my community I notice that more and more non natives without documentation are going out to area schools and talking about their fabricated history, this made me ill, so we have ndns here that can do that task, task meaning these schools need a actual body there to show the kids we are still alive...this is how it is here, not to much talk on ndn issues....the general public doesn't know about us ndns....and if they do, they relate us to casinos or better yet to the lone ranger hahahaI just had one child ask me "how did you make it, and nobody else did"...welll I was floored ...so I took it upon myself to educate the area lol...and in the process, expose these wannabe's, make them a learning tool for the general public so they can understand, not everybody is ndn just because they say they are.....is this so bad?.......I'm 44/f and happily mariied, 5 children 21-25 year of age..4 grandchildren 2-6 yrs of age...visit my website www.kiowakat.com to learn more lol...whew I hope to talk to guys soon (smiles) (wavin)....keeping it real is important to me and my family!!
