What I found to be hilarious was this statement:

WARNING: If you have all or even most of the above symptoms, please be advised that your condition of PEACE may be so far advanced as to not be curable!

Left me scratchin' my head!

This is definately weird!

It is, but I can't see from a brief look at that site why you've listed it here.

There is a "Native American" connection to the colloidal-metal health quackery she's punting but I haven't seen mention of it on her site.

Quote
Colloidal mineral promoters would like you to believe that mineral deficiency is a widespread cause of disease. To counter this alleged problem, they are marketing products said to be water-leached from shale in the Emery Coal Field of central Utah. According to various sales pitches, an ailing cattle rancher named Thomas Jefferson Clark was told about a healing stream by Chief Soaring Eagle, a Paiute medicine man and elder.

When people take colloidal silver the metal is deposited in their skin (argyria) and eyes (argyrosis), which may permanently turn a blue-grey colour.

She also crosslinks with Lynn Andrews, and endorses her.
http://www.lynnandrews.com/articles.htm
Meg Blackburn Losey says "From  Medicine Woman to Writing Spirit, Lynn Andrews has consistently and  beautifully continued  to bring to her readers the depth and truth  of human spirit. Reaching far beyond the everyday illusions, Lynn brings to  her readers timeless wisdom through the depth of her vivid experiences. Her  candor touches the heart beyond measure." (--Meg Blackburn Losey,  Ph.D., Author of The Children of Now)

And she throws Mayans into her kitchen sink of claims.

Another dubious character she promotes.

Hey I'm sorry if I confused or aggravated anyone here.  When I see a quack promoting more quacks I will toss it out to ya'll and see what you think. But I had delved into this cause I had noticed an  ex- Vincent Laduke follower promoting Meg Blackburn. My mistake for not making it clear on the first post. I apologize for that . I will tend to be more clear the next time.

I can see she sells the stuff, but I couldn't see whether she'd used the "Native American chief passes on ancient health secrets to conquering white man before becoming extinct" patter to sell it. It looks like she's using the "wise men of the Bible and the Orient" routine instead. I think exposing quacks is always worth doing.

Who's this LaDuke follower?

Vincent LaDuke follower or should say old LaDuke follower.
I won't get into details about the conversation I had with it.

Hello, This is my third attempt to connect with you on some grievous errors on your web site. I feel that you began with great intentions but the oats about me are nothing more than out of context statements and rudeness re aspects of my earlier web site taken out of context. It is from 2007. It still comes up when I search my name and gosh, this is so wrong. Look at anything I write, publish, all my social networks, anything, an you will see that I am only about love and I claim to be nothing else.
A couple of years ago I wrote a long email to you requesting that the negative postings about me be removed on your threads. I asked you to post my response and you did not to the best of my knowledge. I am sincerely not ok with a site that chooses only to diss good people while trying to ferret out frauds who cannot or will not print rebuttals or clarity regarding what was written. This makes me look bad. It also makes your site look like there are a lot of peoole without much else to do picking apart good people’s work. In all of the years that I have done the work of Spirit, I have never, ever, had a bad reputation or negative reputation for any reason. Nor do I deserve one. Yours is the only negative anything regarding me online and it is based upon out of context quotes from my old web site. The thread was in 2007 but it keeps showing up. my work is my life and I an not now or have ever been irresponsible with anyone or anything in regards to what I do.
I believe there may have been a question of Native American Heritage. I am a mi’kmaq descendant.
The items on my web store never made claims, in particular, the colloidal silver which at that time was made by a friend and I was trying to help them out by listing their products. I no longer do list those nor have I for many years.
The inner Peace page is a tribute to my dear friend who passed away a number of years ago. The piece was written by someone else to whom I have credited. It was found printed out for the residents of where my best friend lived the day she died. Since it was the last item she had attempted to publicly share, I felt it perfect to use for her tribute. The part about the warning, these symptoms may be contagious, was a simple humor that the original author had added at the end and was only that nothing more.
At the request of our publishers, Authors often endorse the works of others. These endorsements are a natural part of the book business but it doesn’t mean that I make any of the claims of anything that I endorsed. That is the work of other authors.
I feel there has been some sort of error that I “promote” people as stated in this thread. I had 6 years of internet radio with a gazillion guests. That is how radio works. You list publicly who your upcoming or current guests are. That doesn’t mean you agree with them and if you listen to some of my archived shows you will find that anyone on any of my shows that went in a less than light or who had a negative direction was quickly called to task by me live and on the air. Radio shows are about information. It is up to the audience to discern. Surely I really don’t need to say this do I?
I feel like sites like yours have the potential to be a great thing or a destructive thing. Since you do not allow me to post a reply to address these questions, you do not answer my emails,  and this is at least my second or third attempt to rectify this with you,I am left with the sense that your intention is to libel me and the good work that I do in this world. Libel is a serious offense. Please respond to me and let me know that these out of context statements have been removed. If they are not I will have no choice but to seek legal action. Thank you very much.
Always in and of light and respectfully,
Meg

I suppose that mentioning a Ph. D. title is nothing more than an out of context statement. One cannot get a Ph. D. title for touching the light or channelling, as far as I know. So if she ever got such a title - I suppose that was in an earlier career, long before 2007.
Claiming a Ph. D. is something else than claiming love.

Name is Meg Blackborn-Losey in voter records, her husband David Losey. Her name is Margaret Losey in property assessor records. Past addresses include North Carolina and Tennessee. She is based in Cheney, Washington now. https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/KBMT-DSZ

Her degree from Univ of Sedona:

Quote
Holistic Life Coaching: Holistic Life Coaching is based on a holistic, whole person concept of working with the body, mind, and spirit or God. This is usually a one-on-one process. A Holistic Life Coach will be discussing what is happening in the environment and the experience of clients, underlying and limiting beliefs, and developing a spiritual practice that works for the client – within their own religion and/or faith. Generally speaking a coach will work with someone on a subject or topic related goal, establishing the best route to the achievement of that goal. Another scenario – helping the client to clarify or establish clear goals with emphasis on God’s inner presence for achievement.

https://universityofsedona.com/metaphysical-curriculum/

Her Nuage tours include ones to the "Bosnian Pyramids" ( a hoax http://www.archaeologyuk.org/ba/ba92/feat3.shtml ) and ceremonies near Lake Titicaca in Peru. http://www.awaken.com/2012/12/message-from-dr-meg/

Does she say that her claimed NDN heritage makes her special too?

Losey's books are sold all over Europe, there are entries in several languages (German, French, Spanish, Polish, Czech, Slovakian, Norwegian, Portuguese/Brazilian, Italian, Turkish, Dutch, Croatian, Hungarian …).

Losey's German publishers say:

http://amraverlag.de/blackburn-losey-meg-m-16894.html

Quote
Dr Meg … became known as a healer, a lecturer as well as spiritual teacher and developed several healing methods. […] She is regularly published in Newage magazines … Her work is in the tradition of great wisdom teachers like Drunvalo Melchizedek …

Her startling first book „Pyramids from light“ on the art of healing and manifestation of our reality was followed by two books on the new generation of children … which became international bestsellers. […]
She also does seminars and workshops all over the world and organises group tours to sacred places in Scotland, England, Ireland, Peru, Bolivia, Egypt, Mexico, and Bosnia. [...]

There are several red flags: she is called a healer and a spiritual teacher, she allegedly developed several healing methods, she works in the tradition of persons like Drunvalo Melchizedek (there is a thread on him in our Frauds section). And she organises tours to sacred places e.g in Peru, Bolivia, and Mexico, so these will be places held sacred by indigenous peoples.

From Losey's website:
http://www.spiritlite.com/bio.php

Quote
She is also a dedicated amateur archeologist and anthropologist who travels the world learning about places that offer strange, mysterious and different perspectives on the history of mankind and our world. She is well known and respected by indigenous peoples world wide. Dr. Meg takes groups to sacred places, immersing them in local traditions, ceremonies and teachings. She does this with unparalleled enthusiasm and deep, well-steeped knowledge of each location.

Dr. Meg is a Master Healer and Medical Intuitive. She is a seer and a visionary. Always open to the unknown and new possibilities, she loves to learn by experience , and then factor those experiences into her teachings. She has worked with a great number of families and children, as well as lectured and presented as a keynote speaker both nationally and internationally. She teaches workshops and teleconferences as well.
Emphasis mine

So she even 'immerses' groups in traditions, ceremonies, and teachings'. Of course, for a Nuager, a simple term like „she introduces groups“ is not enough. In which traditions and teachings, and above all which ceremonies will Losey 'immerse' the groups on tours in Peru, Bolivia, and Mexico? So this seems to say Losey is in fact selling indigenous ceremonies and traditions, or at least her tours support the selling of ceremonies, and therefore Losey is exploiting ndn cultures and traditions.

How do we manifest our world? When does the soul enter into our body? Can we travel through space and time and even experience our own future? The exercises in Meg Blackburn's new book open access to the consciousness of our time in a stunningly easy way, while the author describes the universe, our relationship to sacred geometry and to the Akasha chronicles in plain words.

Losey also seems to channel messages of a so-called „Unified Council“:

http://sbeckow.wordpress.com/2010/07/28/dr-meg-blackburn-losey-clear-clarion-call-from-the-unified-council/

Quote

Now here is Dr. Meg’s actual message from the Unified Council.
The Council tells us how extensively we have impacted the planet and how we have given away our power through complacency. It issues an unequivocal call for us to rise now to action, take back our power, and make matters right on Planet Earth.
This is certainly something that I welcome and can get behind.
Message from the Unified Council
July 26, 2010

Another website maintained by Losey promoting her with big fanfare:

http://www.touchingthelight.org/about.php#content

Quote
Meg Blackburn Losey, Ph.D., (Dr. Meg as her readers and students love to call her!) is a dedicated and experienced medical intuitive and alternative healer. She is extremely gifted as a full sensory intuitive even when out of body. She has learned the art of multi-dimensional access and interaction and applied these skills not only to her psychic abilities and interpretations, but to her healing Modality Touching the Light as well as in her communications with audiences and her students.

She has spent the past 15 years perfecting Touching the Light, learning the nuances that the physical body, Etheric bodies and layers of energy fields communicate in a holistic methodology that addresses every aspect of the life of her subjects. She has continually shared her perceptions and experiences with her students, teaching them how to reach not only their highest potential as human beings, but as Etheric healers too.

In all of her accomplishments, Dr. Meg is a down to earth, no nonsense communicator who has a terrific sense of humor, and she takes her mission very seriously. Simply put, she knows that when we become able to not only recognize that there are worlds and realities beyond our current perception, but that we can access, interact and affect change on those otherworldly levels that create healing and change in our human experience, we begin to get an inkling of the innate power we hold inside of us. That power is the most effective tool to create change, to bring us our reality and to help us reach our full potential as human beings bringing our divine nature to the planet.

Her methodology comes from her experiences as Masters, beings of Light, came to her in holographic form. They taught her the construct of reality, of consciousness and even of healing and how, when one understands the very basics, all things are not only relative, but changeable into forms of new and different reality. The Masters continue to work with Dr. Meg even today, bringing cutting edge information about many topics including changes in energy dynamics, technologies, astronomical and scientific and a multitude of other subjects too.
[...]

Why do these clowns need to emphasise their alleged "terrific sense of humour"? Does this happen to be a secret code translating to "I simply love to take the p... out of you gullible so-and-sos"?

Losey's spiritlite website also has a shop which is quite interesting:
http://www.spiritlite.com/store.php

http://www.spiritlite.com/store.php?productgroup=dream_catchers#content

Losey sells seven different types of dreamcatchers at prices between $ 12.95 and $ 24.95.

http://www.spiritlite.com/store.php?productgroup=native_american_ceremonials#content

Quote
Rattles, Prayer Feathers, Smudge Wings, Medicine Bags and More
Some of our very special pieces!
Dr. Meg has hand picked each of these items for quality and workmanship as well as their special meanings or application in the ceremonial world. Each of these is a one of a kind hand made by Native American people.

As far as I can see, there is no proof given that items were indeed manufactured by ndn persons.

A prayer feather (turkey) is sold at $ 25.00.
There are 12 different types of medicine bags, some according to totem (wolf totem, eagle totem, turtle totem), but also a Lakota medicine bag, a Navaho and a Mohawk medicine bag.

A smudge fan sells at 49.00, and there is no info provided on the type of feathers used.

http://www.spiritlite.com/store.php?productgroup=textiles#content

There are 13 different types of „altar“ and „mesa“ cloths, prices for cloth:
large
42x34 40x42 $ 195 reduced to 175
39x42 40x42 $ 225 reduced to 202.50
medium
35x35 35x38 29x38 31x32 $ 195 reduced to $ 175
37x37 $ 239 reduced to $ 225

mesa
16x17 $ 59 red $ 53
20x21 $55 red $ 49.50
20x27 $ 49 red $ 45.10
18x23 $ 59 red $ 53.10

And another category:

http://www.spiritlite.com/store.php?productgroup=made_by_dr._meg#content

Quote
Vintage Basket Hand Woven by Inuit Artisans in Alaska and Characheterized [sic!] by Dr. Meg with Rabbit, and pheasant feathers $ 85

VIntage butt basket adorned with elk hide, rabbit fur and conchas $ 55

Vintage woven basket adorned with natural rabbit fur and deer hide $ 95

Losey makes a living exploiting indigenous cultures and traditions, and probably also by selling indigenous ceremonies or at least supports the selling of ceremonies.

She is also a dangerous Nuager claiming to be a „dedicated and experienced medical intuitive and alternative healer“. Although this is phrased quite nicely, all it boils down to is „I have no idea and no medical training whatsoever“.

Her Ph.D. from the University of Sedona is an unaccredited degree and the University of Sedona seems to be proud to say their degrees are unaccredited because:

religion = good
government = bad (and the government is the agency who grants accreditation)

Quote
Worldly or secular things are the domain of the US Government, while the non-secular spiritual realm of individuals, society, teaching, and education is unapproachable by the US Government. The US Department of Education must adhere to these founding precepts of religious freedom, religious associations, religious beliefs, and practices, and must refrain from all comment or opinion on religious education.

So is it second or third? Believe me, if she had written before it would have been posted in full. We love giving frauds the chance to hang themselves by their own words. I checked my own emails and there's nothing from her.

There was nothing out of context in what we said. Losey crosslinked with fraud Lynn Andrews. If Losey now wants to remove her endorsement and publicly disavow any connection to Andrews, pls do so. We would gladly report such.

If Ms. Losey wants a retraction, that's simple enough.
1. Quit selling fraudulent "cures."
2. Quit posing as a PhD or doctor.
3. Offer refunds and apologies to all those she ripped off.
4. Get a real job.

Then we would gladly retract our criticisms. But so far, Losey's knowledge of the law and what constitutes libel is as failed as her alleged training.

Univ Sedona deserves its own thread. There have been tons of complaints about it.

And Ms. Losey's statement was enough to spur people to do additional research that moved her from Research Needed to a very definite Fraud.
