I think we passed the 500 mark in membership about two weeks ago. We've been so busy with the campaign against Prisoners of the Past and other work that many of us didn't notice.

We are now DOUBLE the size we once were when we were still a Yahoo group many years ago. And we're lots more active than many forums with far more members. We also certainly have a much higher number of NDN members than any of our critics. About 80% of our members are NDN, and about 60% of our members are active ones.

Yeagley's white supremacist and apple Indian forum Badeagle, for example, technically has over 1000 members, but over 90% of them are white, and only about one in six of his "members" have ever posted. He has all of five or six actual "Indians" active in there.

And the Castaneda forum? Is there even one "Indian"? Or at any of the "shamanism" groups on Yahoo?

Thanks to everyone whose stuck with us, and to everyone for their work exposing frauds and exploiters.

This forum will always be around as long as there is a need. (Which sadly shows no sign of going away.) Can't keep a good group down.

Another milestone. It seems that the campaign against fraud Rachel Holzwarth has drawn quite a few people here.

Even more important than the number of members is just how much more activity there is, sometimes 10 or 20 posts a day. Perhaps double the activity of a few years ago.

Thanks to all for making this activist forum such a success. And speaking personally, I'd like to see campaigns like the one against Holzwarth be a regular thing. There's certainly (and unfortunately) no shortage of frauds.

I'm new here and don't know much about your work... But i feel this group is very integrated and lighted with good spirit of dedicated companionship. The healthy intent and environment  here obviously contrasting with lunatism, abuse and decadence of New Age grouping. 

Yes, unfortunately this work is truly needed...   

I wonder if we can affect the situation of such massive spread of New Age absurd on basic ground level instead of going from case to case struggling with aggressive defense of fraud masters and resistance of confused ...

There must be ways to demand from legislative authorities to restrain the fraud with proper regulation...

Firstly,sites like NAPFS are to be applauded,they are a valuable resource to people like
me who work at legislature level in the international community.There was a time not long
ago when spokespeoples,representatives and even Bands were crippling themselves
financialy just to chase one huxster down and out of their territories.As I am sure educated
indian and many NAPFS members can also confirm.

Understand me here as long as we have the international embassies of the Canadian Parliament
and the US Federal Gov, supplying europeon schools with their homogenized version of 'Indian
history' and employ white twinkies to dress up and play tourist traditional for them at official functions
Then parasites who leech the life out of our nations will always exist.

And folks like me will always need to bounce enquiries about hinkey people off of the members at
NAPFS.We've come a long way in the last 515yrs,we don't stand on hills burning our blankets trying
to get word out (although the moccassin telegraph can never be beaten in terms of plan B)We are
doing something about the various situations placed before us.

Yes, this group doing good and selfless work on raising  social responsibility and awareness and sure contributing to evolution of human consciousness.

A lot was accomplished in the last decades in moving social and individual awareness in the direction of respect and protection of human rights.   

However, often individuals and social groups facing impossibility to protect themselves from exploitive and abusive fraud. The majority of people having their own little life struggles and daily duties and tending not to take active position to protest against abuse which does not touch them directly.

I think we can use several approaches in battling with New Age fraudulence which would give us wider position and gain more active supporters who consider their life was affected directly by New Age exploiters.

New Agers have one important thing in common: they are businesses. They making money on false claims. Inventing phony stories with purpose of selling the product is specific of New Age business. It should be prosecuted by law fraud and people who feel affected by it, should have practical opportunity to apply for defense of their rights as cheated consumers. Absolute majority of New Age businesses could be classified as business fraud as misrepresenting themselves with purpose of profit. 

As i know, Europe is about to make big progress in providing practical opportunity in restraining New Agers from profiteering on exploitive dishonesty by obligating them to prove the validity of their claims (including truthfulness of their promo stories) on consumer's demand. 

I'm not sure about legal reality of American countries in regards to possibility of combating New Age exploiters from the point of view of consumers rights. If the legal base is lacking practical opportunities, do you think it would be possible to fill this gap and provide anyone who was a  paying consumer of New Age with practical opportunity to demand the proof of validity from New Age service providers?

Then, the absolute majority of New Age businesses would be forced to quit their parasitic habit  to leech on magic of Natives of America or any other cultural group.

while i take on board your comments,it would be worth reminding ourselves that a majority of NAPFS members belong to/or co ordinate active groups in their own right.You only have to wade through the extensive NAPFS archives to grasp how effective and co ordinated they all are in their own right and as NAPFS members,internationaly.
Back to the thread topic,I personaly thank Al and the NAPFS founders for biting the proverbial bullet and taking this one on at a time when representative could not move for twinkies of all races getting in the way and seriously enflaming a very emotive issue ammongst Indian peoples of all Nations.

Congratulations to Educated Indian,Barnaby and all who write on here. I have belonged to this site now for some years and have seen the lengths to which some people will go to discredit this site and the people on here,all because those who are doing the attacking(nuagers/frauds) are afraid of their sometimes sizable incomes are reduced significantly when exposed. It is only through this site and the many more out there who support the work done on here that we are able to get to grips with the exploiters.

Congratulations on the milestone, there is important work being done here. I must say that I am concerned that words are censored and people banned without explanation. If it is necessary to censor and ban people  I would like to see a post explaining why in each case. Also, there seems to be more banning and censoring lately, why is this? Being a site owner/moderator must be a difficult job but we are losing enough rights daily as it is. Stay strong....

In the past month we've had a grand total of ONE person get banned. Or should I say, get banned again. That's John Martin AKA Tallsoldier77 and about two dozen sockpuppet IDs and counting.

His latest IDs to be banned:

In fact, I think the number of sockpuppet IDs from Martin now outnumbers all other people who have ever been banned in here put together.

So it only seems like more because the same person (plus the very naive JB Wingo) was whining repeatedly under many IDs.

Perhaps two dozen people in over eight years is probably a pretty good record. Yeagley probably bans or bars that many people in a month. Same with most Nuage forums.

The hypocrisy of Nuagers like Amylee's supporters crying about freedom of speech when they've never practiced igt themselves is stunning. Remember that Amylee's people have been trying to silence us with empty lawsuit threats for a couple months now.

Let's not fall for their claims about censorship. No one's lost any rights except to spam or be abusive, if you want to call that a "right".

If anyone wants, we can start making it a practice to keep copies of what we delete, and then make it available to any member who asks, except for the frauds and their supporters, who can't be trusted not to alter after the fact and then forward lies.

Just kidding.  But seriously, I know that I am very thankful for this site.  I came here looking for information on one specific person, but ended up learning so much more, and realized just how serious and epedemic these culture-vultures have become.  I realize as a grey-eyed thin-blood my opinion may not hold as much value as some others' (in some people's eyes, but not all), but I firmly believe in what is being done here and I will continue to give my words of support, and my actions too whenever and however I can.  I want to thank all who continue to contribute here, especially those who take the time to do the extensive research and provide the evidence so that we can all feel confident that we are going about things in a good and fair way.  It's easy to feel confidant taking a stand when the information used is almost always the person's OWN words or OWN website.  I love it!
