This Markus Werner is now posting crap from John Lekay about his Heyoka Society and how he has been a member for 3 years.

A quote from his latest blog, posted 11/28/08

"Never-the-less, this new movement hasn't been without its critics. The majority Lakota declaring this new group is stealing from them. Never mind these critics look Past the fact that Lakota medicine men like Akicita wakan mani, Peter V Catches and Edgar Heaps of Birds are also members. They will point out Red Elk or several others and call them 'fakes'."

It took us almost 3 weeks of complaining to Multiply.com for him to finally remove the copyrighted photo he used without permission but they have not done much else about the verbal diarrhea coming from him.

:) Not that it's relevant anymore but I just needed a morning laugh........and decided to just do a little surfing, and found this

Quote
Bio
Red Elk is an Inter-Tribal Medicine Man. He is a self-described half-breed Native American / white, of both the BlackFeet and Shoshoni Nations, as well as part Irish and French. He is a member of the Heyoka (hi - OH - kah) Society, a Contrarian group of Native Americans who do not follow the normal path of mankind. Red Elk is one of twelve Inner Heyoka members. He is one of the nine members of the Red Web Society who are working to bring understanding of many hidden sacred teachings to the people of Earth. He is also an honorary member of the Cherokee Nations Twisted Hair Society.

In 1973 Red Elk went on a 69 day fast, taking water, juices, and vitamins. On or about the 49th day Red Elk began to experience a vision about the future. For a little more than an hour each day for 3 days Red Elk saw and experienced a future that he didn't want to see. The East and West coasts of America subside, a huge meteor strikes the Atlantic, unimaginably great earthquakes rip apart the earth as massive volcanic eruptions darken the skies and blacken the land. But these tribulations pale in comparison to what soon follows as the earth's axis flips and ensuing floods and 300 mile per hour winds savagely destroy buildings, people, ecosystems and entire nations.

Red Elk believes that there is Hope and that we have time to change and prepare... But the first thing we must change is ourselves.

It just keeps getting better....in a blog on his Multiply page http://naxiksewahiga.multiply.com/journal/item/76, one of the comments he made in reply to another poster's comment was as follows:

"My uncle Kenneth was a Kelly. He has three sons that I grew up with. We're still close, his sons and I.
Many Kelly's are on the rolls. But I was the bale headed step child, lol. My blood lines are Dakota but I was raised Ojibwa or Chippewa in many respects. We still watched TV and had a Christmas tree LOL."

So he's gone from claiming Cherokee to Chippewa to Dakota......what's next?

http://naxiksewahiga.multiply.com/journal/item/76  My blood lines are Dakota but I was raised Ojibwa or Chippewa in many respects. We still watched TV and had a Christmas tree

So, I can't quite figure this out;  is he saying Christmas trees and TV are Ojibwa/Chippewa, or Dakota?

I don't think even he knows what he's saying......none of what he writes makes much sense.  He talks in twisted circles.

My big question now is how can he be enrolled in the Sakaogan Mole Lake Chippewa if he's now claiming Dakota by blood?  I have not heard back from Mole Lake concerning him and his claims.  Does anyone have any contacts with the Mole Lake Band?

He talks in twisted circles.

Maybe this should be his "Indian" name.  :D

It no doubt has a bit to do with too much worship at the altar of Wild Turkey (http://www.newagefraud.org/smf/index.php?topic=2001.msg14806#msg14806).  :D

Then again, without people like this, who will show us what not to do by doing it?

LOL.....I never even thought about that!  His page alone is enough to give headaches.....but when he starts to lie it turns into migraines.  He, his girlfriend and their cohorts are now coming down on full-bloods yet they toss around phrases like "let's play Indian", "now THAT'S Indian, baby".

A contact of mine actually had contact with Mole Lake and they have no Werners on their rolls and have never heard of him.  He and his girlfriend also had contacted the Eastern Band to try and have a legitimate Indian Center in KY shut down because they were exposed.  I'm an unenrolled mixed blood but I'm not going around following frauds, acting like an elder and claiming to be something I'm not.
