Better late than never I guess - I was refered to this site in response to a question I had about a fake - and I like what I've seen here - plus there are people here, like Trisha who's work I really admire.

Have degrees in Art, Anthropology - with a specialty on ethnobotany - MA- Native American Studies - Doctoral candidate - I currently serve on several national level boards for Native American education (NCORE, MIEA, etc) - have taught Native American Studies in public schools, and at the university level.
I work mostly on Native youth projects and issues -For four years I was the Director of a Indian youth program called American Indians into Careers in Health (ARCH) that won several national awards for excellence but lost its funding in a "no child left behind coup"
I'm a quill worker, bead worker, traditional dancer, grandmother and mom. I'm glad to be here - Thanks for a great site.
