Kenny Little Fish and Shamanic Planet
« on: November 01, 2004, 09:46:41 pm »
Just had a call from someone that was telling me tat they had to help a young boy that was doing peyote with Kenny Little Fish. The boy is in early teens, I think. Anyway, the traditional people had to "brush him off" (as they sy up here) and work on him because he thought people were doing things to him. He was of the belief that Leonard Crow Dog, whom he has never met, was working on him! The person that I spoke with has met LCD and wanted more info on Little Fish.

Well, more people have been coming from Kenny's group asking for help. That is not good. In the meantime, he has promoted himself to an "Anishanabi Elder":

"The Rainbow Hoop???

A prophetic documentary film about repairing the sacred Hoop of Nations: a time when people of all cultures join together in peace to heal each other and the planet. Featuring indigenous people from diverse tribal societies. Includes dialogue, drumming, dance, stories and song. Filmed, directed & preliminary edit by John Veltri.

“The Rainbow Hoop...a coming together of all peoples... from all Nations, the four directions, all the great religions.  When people begin to recognize each other as Spiritual Beings, beyond all obvious differences, and come together to listen to and honor each other and our Earth... then there will be a great healing???

On one website (now defunct, this was cached) he was listed as Susquamish, not Anishnaabe.

"NATIVE AMERICAN CHURCH
SUQUAMISH NATION

AUTHORIZATION FOR BUZZ BERRY AND PAUL SKYHORSE TO ACT AS CUSTODIANS, REPRESENTATIVES AND CARRIERS OF THE HOLY SACRED SACREMENT PEYOTE.

BY KEN LITTLEFISH, PETE HAWK, STEVE OLD CAYOTE"

KLF also does ceremonies as part of Fred Wahpehah's Seven Circles. But I wouldn't call them frauds. Seven Circles lists him as an Ojibwe Road Chief.

Also known as Kanucas Littlefish. he gives a short bio of himself here.

That site is just insulting. But fortunately, Smokehouse is coming back to Suquamsih and won't need Kenny and his bunch.

Wanted to revive this.  Ken Little Fish has moved and is now in Vermont.  This one is from '07.

As always, we consider moving someone who has passed on into Archives and marking No Longer a Matter of Concern. But I do see Shamanic Planet still claims him as pretty much their founder. Earth Alive doesn't mention him anymore, but does promote several frauds, "Osheanna Fastwolf" and Joseph Rael, plus Charlie Thom whose had many questions about him. Many more listed as well that we don't have information on.

For now I've retitled the thread. Other opinions?
