Got a request about this. Over in Germany there's an organization selling "Indian Essence."

This is what the Ojibwa and Cree Indians call their "sacred drink" composed of nine medical herbs, which cleanses the body and promotes harmony with the "Great Spirit".

The number "9" is a magical number not only for the Indian shamans because of their "medicine Wheels". Nine is also the "sacred" number of the Absolute (Brahma), and is designated in the Kabala as the "Wisdom of Living Knowledge". The sum of the digits of the product of every multiplication (from 1 to 10) by "9" always equals "9"! The union of nine ingredients is essential, since it is precisely this combined remedial energy that constitutes the particular "vibration" of this remarkable, traditional and natural medicine.

Indian Remedy also for serious complaints"

A report by Prof. Fred Soal-de-Santé, MD + Ph.D. (FLYER-english-03)

How do the Indians treat cardiac and circulatory complaints, stomach, intestinal, bladder, prostate and urethra ailments, gynaecologic problems, arthritis, allergies, psoriasis, asthma, diabetes, neuro-dermitis, migraine, chronic mycosis, cancer, etc.?

Under this or similar titles many newspapers and magazines have already reported astonishing results with original INDIAN*ESSENCE. Noted medical men and lay practitioners have thoroughly tested this preparation and confirm its efficacy.

This drink composed of herbs, roots and bark is no ordinary herb tea. It cleanses the body, promotes a healthy intestinal flora, purifies the blood and strengthens the immune system....

The original formula comprising nine ingredients was entrusted to the INDIAN WISDOM FOUNDATION - IWF by the elders and the "inner circle of the Mides" of the Ojibwa and Cree Indians. The IWF is a charitable organization set up to disseminate the principles of traditional Indian medicine. It also organizes the sale of original INDIAN*ESSENCE. A portion of the profits from the sale of this extraordinary product goes to the "First Nation People", the current honorific designation of the Indians in Canada. This participation in the proceeds is intended to serve the cause of education and the preservation of the Indian cultural heritage...

....These natural raw materials are transported to special enterprises in Switzerland (for the European market) or to Canada (for the North American market) without the agency of intermediate traders. Here under controlled conditions ensuring purity and quality they are mixed in accordance with the "secret formula" of the Indians and packaged by specialized and reliable companies.

The final process, the packing of the sachets with multilingual directions into the folding box, takes place in workshops for the handicapped. Original INDIAN*ESSENCE is officially admitted by the EU, and certified as safe by medical experts. The IWF also possesses quality and purity certification regarding all individual components of the I*E mixture.

....Each pack contains three 25 g sachets of original INDIAN*ESSENCE and retails at US$ 20.--, CAN$ 25, £ 22.--. Each sachet yields 1 litre of ready-to-drink essence, enough for remedial treatment lasting several weeks. Each pack also contains detailed instructions for preparation in English, French, Italian and German. Original INDIAN*ESSENCE is obtainable with the IWF-consultants or can be ordered at pharmacies, drugstores and stores selling health-food-stores.

....In 1994, Dr. Martina Kaessner Fischer, a scientific journalist from Switzerland traveled to Canada to investigate reports about the various, so-called Indian “wonder” medicines.

Following an introduction by the Department of Northern and Indian Affairs, she was able to meet with Indian chiefs, Elders and Shamans....

As she won the trust and confidence of the Elders and Shamans, the First Nation People gradually revealed to her the secrets of their ancient, traditional healing methods, using pictures, stories and symbols. They explained to her how they use what they consider “holy” herbs, plants, roots and bark to heal sick people.

They divulged to her the secrets of the miraculous healing ability of tea essences - which they have been using for thousands of years.

Based on the trust she had developed with the First Nation People, they decided that the time had come to share their healing secrets with the world, as a gesture of reconciliation to White People and as way to heal the earth and to renew the Universe.

As a result of this sharing, the Indian Wisdom Foundation was born, with its sole aim and objective to disseminate the principles of traditional Indian medicine.

....Almost overnight, the story of original INDIAN*ESSENCE appeared in many publications in Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Italy, France and Poland and with it, the number of people who wished to try this miraculous tea themselves. Over the past four years, original INDIAN*ESSENCE has enjoyed a remarkable success in Europe, a success that continues today.

Dr. Martina Kaessner Fischer and her husband, Dr. Roland-Romain Fischer decided that this wonderful product should also be made available to the people of North America. Therefore, In 1997 they returned to Canada to set up the Canadian Centre of the Indian Wisdom Foundation.

Well, if true, this does seem like it would be a step forward, ethical marketing of Native medicine that benefitted the Ojibwe and Cree. But we definitely need to see if these claims, esp the ones I bolded, are true.

This group, the Indian Wisdom Foundation, has a second site that just repeats the claims of the first.

Its founder and the site owner is Martina Kaessner Fischer, a "scientific journalist." Found this site in German, bad google translation follows. Hopefully it's just the translation, because it's hard to get more bizarre than some of the claims in the article.

The truth on the track: In the "Tepee (indian tent), by the warm fire, finds Dr. Martina Käßner Fischer (center) a lot about the healing powers of the Indian essence. Barry (left) and his niece, "Misty" (right) know much about ecological loops and Native American medicine wheels.

At the "holy water" warm welcome by Chief Sonny McGinnis and his daughter. Sonny asks in astonishment: "Where has this" four-wheel device, "because his engine?" (Martina opens the hood) Sonny Ho! "The thing is even smaller than my lawn mower to ...!?"

"Keep the spirit alive" (Let the spirit live) is on the self-made T-shirt from the shaman "White Swallow" (white swallow). She proudly shows Martina their harvested ingredients for a new portion of their Indian-Essence and explains the impact of the different plants on the chakras and organs.

Droning air at the "Pow-Wow." The deep, rhythmic sound of drums and the vocals are high even evil spirits away the most. The vibrations of this music to bring cells in the body in very specific vibrations, self-healing powers are activated in the.

The dance of the Indians not only with delight in the movement, but also to do with healing processes. Similar to the "rebounding" on the trampoline, so that metabolic processes activated and the cell nuclei underway in natural frequencies.

Not only the mixture after the "secret formula" has to be right, but also the quality and purity of the nine ingredients from various plants, herbs and barks of the cleansing teas. Shaman "White Swallow" and the IMF President proudly display the packing of the original INDIAN * ESSENCE with the eagle and the IMF logo with the two eagle feathers.

Walter Linklater, chairman and director of the Healing Center project takes the first bank draft of the IMF's involvement in past reception. Visibly moved, he would like to thank Prof. Dr. Roland-Romain Fischer for this initial donation and said, on eagle wings to accompany "" The Great Spirit "and will bless our plans.
