Gillian Eva Sheer AKA Gilly Colledge AKA Solara An Ra
« on: July 16, 2011, 09:06:44 am »
Video of LG being interviewed re Glastonbury by a UK based tantric workshop facilitator and channeller who calls herself Solara An-Ra.  She is a warrior.  Apparently.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zePxWpeP9nE

There are some fairly awful videos on that youtube channel if you can bear to look.

Solara An-Ra may be worthy of her own thread.  She promotes "gifting crystals to water", Pleiadians, sacred geometry, lightworkers, Medicine Wheel stuff, charging crystals, 2012, tantra, all kinds of stuff.

her website

tantric workshop for women

She appears to be someone who is starting her own cult and it would make financial and business sense for her and LG to cross promote each other.

Solara An-Ra charges £111 per hour for individual consultations with her "guides".    :o
Nice work if you can get it

Interesting video here debunking Solara An Ra made by an astronomer (he has an interesting youtube channel devoted to debunking 2012 frauds)

Any news on how the Glastonbury protest went?

I had some plans of my own but these were thwarted by a combination of my own work schedule and the NAFPS site downtime (mostly the latter) that resulted in me not being able to get information to people I needed to get it to.  grrrr

She deserves her own thread. It's pretty apparent she's a fraud. Not just working with frauds like Crowther, but prmoting phony medicine wheel ceremonies herself.
http://gaiaandtribe.org/Default.aspx?element=114

And little wonder Crowther would find so much in common with her. Both of them have set up phony "tribes" that are largely white victims engaged in wishful thinking, being taken for money by leaders spouting gibberish as phony as a three dollar bill. SAR mixes pseudo Native with pseudo Egyptian and silly claims about star people.

Our friend over at 2012hoax has exposed some of her more obvious lies.

That doesn't mean she doesn't deserve more research. For one thing, I'd like to track down her actual name. Her online bio says this, mixed in with the gibberish.

"Solara An-Ra grew up in South Africa, completing a B. A. degree and Teaching Diploma at Cape Town University.  After moving to the UK in 1987 she began her spiritual journey which has led her to become a spiritual teacher who brings a Pleiadian sense of joy and fun into all her work. As a member of the Order of Melchizedek..."

I used the way back machine at archive.org and pulled up the original version of her site. Solara used to be Gilly Colledge until her guides told her to change it in October of 2007.

On another bio she mentions her birth name and I added that to the thread.
Apparently she started off as a "craniosacral therapist." Basically it's altmedicine gibberish, claiming they can help you by manipulating your supposed cranial rhythm. Problem is, there's no evidence such a rhythm even exists. Wiki has a list of the criticisms.

-----------
Lack of evidence cranialsacral therapy provides a therapeutic benefit[13]
Lack of evidence for the existence of "cranial bone movement":
Scientific evidence does not support the theories for cranial bone movement claimed by craniosacral practitioners. This research shows that partial fusion between cranial bones occurs during growth and development.[31]
Lack of evidence for the existence of the "cranial rhythm":
While evidence exists for cerebrospinal fluid pulsation, one study states it is caused by the functioning of the cardiovascular system and not by the workings of the craniosacral system.[32]
Lack of evidence linking "cranial rhythm" to disease:
Research to date to support the link between the "cranial rhythm" and general health is cited as "low grade" and "unacceptable to meet scientific measures".[6]
Lack of evidence "cranial rhythm" is detectable by practitioners:
