She's
selling "journeying" experiences to find your "totem animals" and "personal medicine". She uses Harner, fake Plains, and Wiccan terminology.
Just as, if not more, offensive, she has a page there called "
The Cherokee Nation"... but on it, there is nothing about the Cherokee Nation, or any other living, traditional Cherokee community. Rather she speaks of the Cherokee people in the past tense (!!!) and claims people need to restore Cherokee traditions. As she is selling fake ceremonies to non-Natives, one assumes she is telling non-Natives that they are the ones who need to "restore" these ways. Oh, and she'll sell you a name, too.
Whether she says these offensive things out of ignorance of Cherokee communities and ways, or as a marketing tactic, I cannot say, but I don't see anything authentic or appropriate about what this person is doing.
On this page people also refer to her as "Blue" and "Blue Eagle Moon":
http://www.soaringeaglewoman.com/testimonials.htmlDoes anyone know if this woman ever called herself "Rainbow"? (That's a serious question, btw)
