kia ora, ive just become a member, Im maori from Aotearoa (nz) concerned about the fraudulent claims made by people professing to have lineage to, or were trained by native american shamen or maori Tohunga/ shamen and the introduction of new age beliefs into our world view... There is a huge industry of cultural theft here in Aotearoa.

Here on Turtle Island, we see some non-Maori getting fake Maori tattoos, and many people are unclear on the boundaries around haka. And now and then some frauds claiming to either be Maori or have been trained in those ways. So we could definitely benefit from your knowledge and experience.
