I'm including these three together because the same people are in each of them. Kikiallus and Pichuk claim to be tribes, state recognized by WA state.

But looking at their websites and you see some strange things. They are obviously militia and sovereign citizen groups. Pilchuk uses their "tribal" site to peddle gun shows.

NAJP seems to be just both groups claiming to know how to use Indian Child Welfare Act and Indian Arts and Crafts law "to work for you." So by claiming to be tribes they hope to adopt NDN kids and sell NDN crafts.

Their "chief" Kurt Riggins faced charges in Colorado for impersonating being a lawyer and attempting to influence a public servant, which can mean bribery or intimidation. The article's not clear which. A comment at bottom claims Riggins has charges in WA state.

Kurt Weinrich who calls himself Kurt Kanam is a member of both. Weinrich/Kanam stepped in and convinced 14 members of the Karluk he could help them break away from their village. He botched the case pretty badly, being served with an injunction for trying to intimidate the judge.

County Attorney Jim Petrock informed Commissioners that a “Notice of Filing of Foreign Judgment” had been received at Gilpin County District Court. The Karluk Tribal Court, (with an address of Olympia, WA), on behalf of the native village of Karluk, ruled in favor of the Kikallus Indian Nation in their case against Gilpin County and issued a permit to “Kikiallus Indian Nation and it’s contractor Brannon Sand and Gravel to mine gravel and minerals from the land known as 2982 Robinson Rd, Golden CO.” The land in question, now in foreclosure, is that of Phil Wolf. Petrock said the Karluk is a tribe in Alaska but according to the Bureau of Indian Affairs (in Alaska) the tribe has no jurisdiction beyond their village. Washington does not have state-recognized tribes and the Kikallus, though listed on the Washington State Tribal Directory (at their request) are landless and not a federally recognized tribe. Petrock said no one was able to account for how the Karluk could have jurisdiction for the Kikallus. Even so, because the notice has been filed in Gilpin District Court, the County will file a motion to have it dismissed, incurring further cost at the taxpayer’s expense, for this latest in the long litigation history associated with this property.

Kurt Kanam seems to have taken his name from a famous chief named Kanam. His real last name is Weinrich. Whether he or any of the others have actual ancestry, or whether they let anyone join, we don't know yet.

Weinrich is under a restraining order for fraud and conspiracy after trying to use his phony claims of being a tribal court to shake down an oil company and transfer the proceeds to TMI Ministries.

Kurt Riggin lawfully addressed this matter presenting that the State Constitution of 1889 is not the lawful Washington State Constitution and that the actual authorized Constitution of 1878 is the du jure and proper Constitution and they then tried to poison him in Olympia while he was on the way out of the state.

If you go to his old Duramax site, it's pretty clear he was selling a dubious formula for erectile dysfunction. Oracaine is a painkiller. Pediachoice is for weight loss for kids.
