Shamans believe that part of our human Soul is free to leave the body.
The soul is the center of the shamanic healing arts. Shamans change their state of consciousness allowing their Soul to travel and retrieve ancient wisdom and lost power.
Because a portion of the Soul is free to leave the body it will do so when dreaming, or it will leave the body to protect itself from potentially damaging situations be they emotional or physical. In situations of trauma the Soul piece may not return to the body on its own, and a Shaman must intervene and return the Soul essence.
 
Some reasons for Soul loss
There are various reasons for Soul loss. If a person was in an abusive situation part of one's Soul may leave to protect itself from the abuse.  Sometimes as a child, fighting parents may prompt the Soul part to hide because the child is scared.
If a traumatic accident is about to occur such as an impact or accident the Soul would leave so that it wouldn't be effected by the force of the accident. If a loved one is lost, the Soul part may go until the person is ready to deal with their grief. All of these are very healthy mechanisms of protection.
In some cases the soul part will return on its own. But if it does not realize how to return, or if it does not know that it is safe to return - a Shaman may need to assist the return of that missing piece.

There certainly are a lot of Nuage titles listed along with lots of Franklin Mint type images. Could be a follower of her's through.

If Neil is BHW, she certainly seems to be trying to give the impression she's Lakotsa. Mitakuyes all over the site and claims she gives money to "Pine Ridge." No charity named, just the rez.

It seems to me as if her Buffalo Healing Woman has been replaced by The Faery Realm, since most things on the Buffalo Healing Woman site seem to have been stopped in 2012 (also the Tweets) and then The Faery Realm took over in 2013.

You are lying, twice. They openly state so multiple times on their own sites.

And this is not doxing. It's journalism. It's also investigation of a public figure by a hatewatch group of a non-Native fraud peddling stereotypes of Natives for cash, a white imposter who mangles Native traditions to put out a false commercialized version of them for outsiders ignorant of actual Native traditions.

If you're too lazy to read what we are when it's right in front of you, then you should quit wasting our time with deliberate falsehoods.

If you know Ms. Neil, you could tell us why she hides her true identity and what she bases her false claims on. Better yet, you could ask her to quit being an exploiter for cash, and spreading falsehoods by posing as something she is not.
