He is clearly non-Indian but his gofundme plea makes him look like he is Blackfeet. He wrote a book about Leonard Mountain Chief and claims he was adopted by him.

From his GoFundMe page, he makes it out to seems as if he is homeless so apparently the healing, organic gardening and writing did not work out too well for him.

And he appears to be equating himself with Kahlil Gibran here:

I wasn't sure about that claim.  According to Wikipedia:

Gibran died in New York City on April 10, 1931, at the age of 48. The causes were cirrhosis of the liver and tuberculosis.

Now, if he could just find those "two women" to support him!  It looks like he has done pretty well so far.  He has collected $500 from 12 people in 11 days, but his goal is $20,000.
