I did see the Unole E Quoni "tribe" mentioned somewhere but it worth bringing up again. Daishin Wolfhawk claims to be a "chief" of the tribe however I have searched the net and can bring up nothing onthis tribe, I did read in the New York times that it is another cyberspace "tribe" and he is a self prclaimed chief. He was in prison for 10 years for rape,sodomy,incest, and said to the news "I made a mistake" now the ACLU is envolved because the are "native american" and their children and newborn have been taken away because of his past,THANK GOD FOR THAT. I e-mailed CNN news and asked if they have checked his  statement of being native american is true, where is this tribe, whats his heritage and his staement in the Times "My tribe is all over the United States",he says "we are an unreconized tribe". Hope to hear back from them. So we have this perpertrator, John Joseph Lentini,aka,Daishin Wolfhawk,aka,Imam Daishin Abulhaq(wolfhawk)
Anyone know anything about this dude?? Also why is his "wife" staying with her parents, I mean wheres the tribe???

The tribe solely exits only in the mind of wolfhawk, or whatever his name really is. I would really wish however that he ,(wolfhawk) would make up his mind whether he wants to be native American, OR a muslim cleric, since he uses the title "Imam". If he is indeed an Imam, he would not/could not, pratice the NDN religions/beliefs systems.

I have continued my research on this Daishin and so far have found a message board have found a Imam Daishin Abulhaq,found google search by typing in Abdulhaq and clicked on Whitewolfs guest book. Now I don't know if this is the same person but all tese names mean sonmething different.
Imam; Islamic,muslin prophet
Daishin; Japanese priest,cleric
Abulhaq; Muslin, last name of afghan commander veteran who died resisting the afghan.
Daishin signed in as whitewolf after signing the other names.SAME PERSON?In the guest book he is # 76 April 7th 2001.
All I have been able to locate on the Unole E Quoni is  when I googled Quoni  ran across this site http://klintorth.com/ other than that no indian tribe by that name.
Mc Calls News is interested in what we find on this dude as they have been told in court by him he has only changed his name once from John Joseph Lentini to Daishin Wolfhawk.
I really smell a skunk in the wood pile. No tribe, Japanese name and possibly, muslim,Islamic and afghan??
Unable to find it debbiebear here on the site??

Mr. WolfHawk, now 53, was known as John Joseph Lentini when he pleaded guilty in 1983 to raping and sodomizing two teenage girls. He was sentenced to 5 to 15 years and served 10. Under state versions of Megan's Law, he is required to register with local police.
Mr. WolfHawk changed his name and declares himself chief of an Indian tribe called the Unole E Quoni, which he says has 175 families but is not recognized by any government. Ms. WolfHawk's lawyer said the two met 11 or 12 years ago; they are both members of the tribe.
