Unify Fest is unrelated to our organization.  We don't put on that event.   

We've only known Phil Lane Jr. to be of service and seen him do a lot of good for the community.  We will ask him about being a chief and post again on this thread.

We are completing some of our final projects for Standing Rock in collaboration with Chief Phil Lane Jr. and will have our Standing Rock Report finished by April 22nd.

Not only is Phil Jr not a chief, he's appeared at one of your fests that had exploiters, obvious frauds, and dubious characters.

Your group hosted obvious frauds Adam DeArmon, Carlos Cedillo, Jose Federico Munoz, on top of Lane. Your group personally profited from this festival, and presented them as legit.

Do you even bother to check out the people you host? Or do you just not care? How naive and ignorant would you have to be to host someone claiming crystal skulls were part of Mayan belief?

Unify.org may deserve its own research thread as an exploiters organization. That's unless you can convince us you were clueless, and show us you are willing to make an effort to avoid hosting exploiters in the future.

Good to hear. It might be a good idea to have a disclaimer on your site, and to ask the festival organizers to put one on their site  too.

I do hope your group gets in the habit of always checking the claims of those you work with or who try to associate themselves with you. For example, the Moonie cult often tries to infiltrate peace movements to make themselves seem legitimate.

Hi All,

This is troubling....a few days ago I was informed that people who had come back from Standing Rock were telling others about all the "mismanagement" and "theft" of the funds and donation monies that were coming in to help support the Water Defenders.
It was said that a lot of money came-up missing and that is one of the reasons why some of the "camps" did so poorly.

What is even more troubling is that Arvol Looking Horse is being named as one of the people that "mismanaged" and/or "stole" the missing money. This is being told by Giovanni Sanchez, whom was out at Standing Rock for some time, he even had a video blog running on facebook, and, got busted-up by the cops before being sent to the jail-house over-night.

Now, of course, I do NOT believe that Arvol had anything to do with any missing or stolen money, and, I believe that this story about Arvol being involved had been started by certain people that like to attend that Indiana Sun Dance. Nevertheless, the story is being spread in an attempt to discredit Arvol in some way so people won't feel so worried about Arvol's "DoW" (Declaration of War...), and so that there can be no issues with the up-coming Sun Dance in Indiana.

I find this very disturbing, but, I am not surprised that this tactic would be used to shed doubt onto Arvol Looking Horse, considering the amount of people that have already been deceived by the plastics - whose egos are far greater than their spirituality....apparently....

I can't find any names, just the organization redlightning.org. They have posted pictures of their dome tent at Sanding Rock and have proclaimed "Through this dynamic solidarity the Lightning Dome has become central gathering space for main camp and developed right relations with the tribal elders enabling further efforts."

Looking at their website, it looks to me like it's Unify again.

They may buy different domains, and switch up which exact names are on which exact forms, but it all looks like the same bunch to me. I think they just have a number of different front groups and aliases in play at this point.

A friend thought I would like to go to a drumming circle in Phoenix, AZ.  Got there and walked up.  Saw a buncha hippies and I left.

Year later and I see the Burning Man video with Chase Iron Eyes, Dan Nananmkin, Antoine Edward Jr and other water protesters associating with Red Lightning.  I couldnt belive it!  Godamn Natives in Sodom and Gomorrah.  I heard other natives who went just turned around and went home immediately. 

These guys didn't say anything until a video with Chase, Dennis Romero, Dan Nananmkin and other Go-Fund Me Babies who have been living on donations and living the festival life since Standing Rock had appeared on Facebook.

What bothered me in my investigation was he had presented at a flagstaff school according to a flyer on his facebook page.  Then I saw he was charging for drumming.  That seemed ok for whites they will pay for anything.  Then at the bottom of the page was that a sweat lodge would be held.

If NAFPS is truly independent this will lead to investigating these "leaders" and stopping the drumming/sweat lodge experiences for sale in Phoenix, AZ.

So, some people tried to bring the ashes from one of the Standing Rock NoDAPL camp fires to... Burning Man. There are a number of videos up about it. You will probably have to be logged in to Facebook to see them. Nothing we can do about that. That's just where the people who survived this chose to livestream them.

While pretendian drumming and shouting happened at Burning Man, allegedly to "spread the word" about water protectors and Standing Rock, back at the actual water protector camp in Cheyenne River, the actual water protectors were being honored in traditional ways. Speaking for myself, there is no question that NAFPS is independent. The work stands for itself. No researchers here need to prove anything.

Some frauds continue to the day they die, and then beyond by their family and followers. NAFPS is obviously here for the long haul.

Yes, this video has a bit more footage than the raw footage above, including the bizarre introduction. It's all over Facebook, of course. As we've discussed many times on the forum here, and has been a subject of discussion other places this has been posted, Irish heritage has nothing to do with this debacle and it's offensive to imply that's any kind of pass. There's nothing Irish in what this appropriator is doing. Well, except following in the footsteps of the particular Irish-Americans who chose to side with the oppressors once they came to America and become as evil as the particular English and other Euros who had oppressed them back in Ireland and the Caribbean. (How the Irish Became White. Or Wasicu, or Windigo, if you will.)

If you've been reading the forum for any length of time, you know we've been opposed to Burning Man since it started. Also, that this is a public forum where we alert people of things, and have open discussions, but that a lot of our work also happens face to face, in community, where people are held accountable in more traditional ways. We can only talk about that so much on here.

Have we been able to stop all the frauds?  I only wish. Will we be able to?  Please help us.
