Another Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/nibwaskaaahki

In the past she FB posted to WA state Governor Inslee her claim that she had been assaulted by serial murderers. The video link given is no longer available.

She has interfered in other people's genealogy discussions with unproven claims.

Uploaded here is her claim that a particular design is "very sacred to my family" and "we have found the mark as far back as 500 BC".

(source https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=236019813976963&set=a.106586583586954&type=3&theater - as usual don't know how long the FB link will remain)

But an image search eventually tells a different story.

"Siberian Princess reveals her 2,500 year old tattoos" https://siberiantimes.com/culture/others/features/siberian-princess-reveals-her-2500-year-old-tattoos/

In this 2012 article:

Quote
The ancient mummy of a mysterious young woman, known as the Ukok Princess, is finally returning home to the Altai Republic this month
.

Quote
The Siberian Times has obtained intricate drawings of her remarkable tattoos, and those of two men, possibly warriors, buried near her on the remote Ukok Plateau, now a UNESCO world cultural and natural heritage site, some 2,500 metres up in the Altai Mountains in a border region close to frontiers of Russia with Mongolia, China and Kazakhstan.

They are all believed to be Pazyryk people - a nomadic people described in the 5th century BC by the Greek historian Herodotus - and the colourful body artwork is seen as the best preserved and most elaborate ancient tattoos anywhere in the world.

Scroll down to find a photograph of the deceased woman's tattooed shoulder. Along with a "drawing of it made by Siberian scientists".

Quote
The tattoos on the left shoulder of the 'princess'  show a fantastical mythological animal: a deer with a griffon's beak and a Capricorn's antlers. The antlers are decorated with the heads of griffons. And the same griffon's head is shown on the back of the animal.

Siberian Ice Maiden https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siberian_Ice_Maiden

Versions of this design now can be found all over the web, sometimes without sourcing or history.

For example: Scythian Deer Tattoo, Ink Drawing inspired by the Ice Princess by Sheridon Rayment  https://society6.com/product/scythian-deer-tattoo-from-the-ice-princess-by-sheridon-rayment_framed-print

So this is not a design from Madison Moore's family. It is not "very sacred to my family" - in fact Moore is being very disrespectful and offensive to claim that it is.

Well,  it seems clear that this person he/she is a total nutter and best to be avoided. Her genealogy is a mess and there seems to be no real Native American connection that I can find. I hope that most people recognize that she is not just a fraud, but a mentally unstable individual with a vivid fantasy life.

I've watched some of her videos. I think she has untreated mental health issues, including delusions and depression. Instead of getting proper help, she is "self-medicating" with new age nonsensical imaginings.

She is gaining a following with her victim narratives, this is not healthy for anyone. She is spreading a lot of falsehoods including her claims about medicine wheels.

Some genealogy sites, once someone has an account and loads information, will display supposed connections with others on the site. Moore has checked the pages of actual Native people and believes that the connections reported are extremely meaningful.

For instance when she checked the page for John Trudell, the site reports that he is her "9th cousin, once removed's partner". For Leonard Peltier: "your third cousin four times removed's husband third cousin once removed". Moore has collected these as supposed further evidence of her heritage.

We see this regularly here. Lost people trying to heal themselves with chaotic cultural theft and appropriation. Lost people lashing out when challenged by the facts.

I want to emphasize that Madison Moore appears to be seriously mentally unwell. Ideally someone would do a welfare check on her, ideally she would get some professional help.

Excellent work, Piff! — I wrote about the "Ice Princess" elsewhere when the news came out of Siberia.

And by now it's gone. You may still see that particular design here:

In case she removes that one, too, you may see the image here:

I seen she was posting on the Oneida of the Thames page under the name: Nibwaskaa Ah-Ki Ojibwekwe Ogichidaa, and telling someone on there to broadcast a ceremony live and she was arguing with him when he said no.  She is posting a lot on that page I think I will warn the moderator of that page about this blog on her.

The need for fact checking is endless with this one.

She's posted a historic photo on FB with a claim "my family".

But the unsourced photo can found all over the place online. The actual source http://www.loc.gov/pictures/collection/grabill/item/99613803/

I found that photo on her Facebook timeline, but without any comments:

There is more accurate information about that photo:

Summary: Four Lakota women standing, three holding infants in cradleboards, and a Lakota man on horseback, in front of a tipi, probably on or near Pine Ridge Reservation.

She has several Facebook accounts.

Here is link to post of photo with caption https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=512029675953387&set=a.113206205835738&type=3&theater I don't know if this link will persist.

Because she often takes posts down, I usually will just clip what I see and post that, rather than include links. She also in the past has taken down her entire Facebook page(s) for several days at a time.

Information online in general concerning her various incarnations also sometimes disappears, so it is wise to make copies of anything found.

She currently claims in a video on Facebook that she is "The Queen of The American Indian Movement".

"Erin Taylor" is one of her past names https://web.archive.org/web/20181201014131/http://folioweekly.com/RUNNING-Through-Barriers,16843

She now has either a tattoo or drawn on design on one shoulder. Discussion of this design here: http://www.newagefraud.org/smf/index.php?topic=5293.msg45820#msg45820
