Willow a medicine woman from Hopi
« on: January 21, 2006, 10:34:03 pm »
Willow, the medicine woman who will teach us the Dance of Creation,
says,

My grandmother, maternal, is Paulina whose people come from the Las
Crusas

area Pueblo. My paternal grandfathers mother, is Tewa/Hopi. Though I
was not
raised on the reservation, I was raised within the matrilineal lineage.

In 1994 during a vision quest, I followed two crow through the Arizona

desert and met 5 shaman, I was named Willow at that time and gifted
with
visionary art. I was then asked to stay and serve as a medicine women.
I
left the Hopi in further search for clearer balance between two worlds.

I was adopted back into the clan in 2003, the delivery of my gift and
meeting

with the priests. In 2000 I was gifted by the Ancients Ones, with a
story
and an art form. The 4 plated Mandala which tells the story of the
Worlds
Transitions is now in the Hopi Museum along with the Hopi Book, Hopi
Mandala, and Transition into the Fifth World.  At that same time I was
asked
to tell stories of my visions, dreams and memories.  It was affirmed
that my
memories were stories told only to those who held the Tewa/Hopi blood.

A ceremony was performed and I was adopted into the Parrot/Snake Clan.

I now support the work to teach the children of Hopi their heritage.

Do you have a link for this? There are so many Nuage operators using the name Willow. Some of what she says doesn't seem to fit, like "las Cruces area Pueblo" instead of the Pueblo name. And if she was asked to stay and learn, but then left to do Nuage stuff...

Sharon McErlane is a psychotherapist from Laguna Beach CA. She claims a group of grandmothers appeared to her in a vision and says her ideas are "Native and Celtic".

Worked a conference with fraud Bennie Lebeau where he sold ceremonies.
http://www.lightconnectiononline.com/Archive/jun05_news.htm
"Days of Wisdom at Big Bear
A day of wisdom sharing and ceremony with Bennie LeBeau and Sharon McErlane, Saturday June 11, 9am-5pm at the Presbyterian Conference Center, Big Bear Lake, CA. $175, includes buffet lunch. “After the Big Bear Medicine Wheel–What's Next???? will be presented by Bennie LeBeau, Tribal Elder, Spiritual Advisor and Ceremonial Leader from the Wind River Indian Reservation of the Eastern Shoshone Nation. “The Great Council of the Grandmothers??? will be discussed by Sharon McErlane, psychotherapist and author from Laguna Beach, CA who in 1996 received a vision from the Great Council of the Grandmothers.
Optional program on Sunday, June 12: visit sacred sites and participate in a healing-drumming ceremony with Bennie LeBeau, $50 additional. To register, call Gina Weiss (909) 585-7228, or visit www.aplacetogrow.com"

But her "wisdom" is a ripoff of Eastern beliefs in yin and yang.
http://www.womenanddepression.herwill.net/interest-other.html
"In 1996 the Grandmothers appeared and taught her of the power of yin, demonstrating how awakening women to this intrinsic energy will save themselves and the earth.
The feminine principle must be re established to its rightful place. Each woman who receives the Grandmothers Empowerment infuses this much-needed energy into Earth by herself embodying this consciousness....
The Great Council of the Grandmothers, representing all races and cultures, has come to infuse the energy of the feminine principle of creation back into our planet....The energy of yin and yang is and has been out of balance for several centuries. Sensitive souls, particularly women, often feel depleted, depressed, as if they are running on empty. The imbalance of masculine and feminine energy has reached such proportions that today all life is in danger. Earth has suffered too long from an excess of yang and insufficient yin, the Grandmothers say"

That's a nice little bit of empty feel good pseudo feminism. If you're feeling depressed, a woman can literally save the world by going through this fake ceremony.

Las Cruces has no pueblo. There are no pueblos that far south. She may have wandered in the desert too long. Last I heard the Hopi use their towns or mesa ie, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd mesa as to where they live. frederica
